@alex said:hahaha s'all good Geo. Just can't see how the voters thought Michael Ennis is better?! He was as useless on Friday night as a screen door on a submarine!
now I got a Dogs fan on me on facebook giving me crap about Ennis and Farah.
Just gotta wait for another month and you can give it back when Robbie is on the Roo tour ahead of him
But seriously, Dugan, or Crocker deserved rookie of the year for me, I would even prefer Mortimer to Idris.
I dont know how the hell Soward won the Proven/Summons award (Isnt that award, for best and fairest?) after basically kicking Inglis and biting Ballin (i think it was him)
I dont know how Thurston almost won the award again.
As far as Hayne winning, well it can happen in any comp (Such as the Brownlow in AFL, Allan Border medal in cricket, John Eales medal in rugby yawnion) where a guy can be brilliant and by far the best in a handful of games and be nothing but crap in the others yet still win. Sydney Swans coach Paul Roos even said that about Adam Goodes where he has only been good in a handful of games but in those handfuls, he has been brilliant and will probably get maximum points which means he will be in contention, same goes with Hayne.
