2013 we averaged 16 points a game.

2014 we averaged 17 points a game

2015 so far we are averaging 17 points a game

Our attack is just as good as it has been the last 2 years

Our defence on the other hand has gone from 28 and 26 points in the last 2 years down to letting in only 19 per game this year.

That is a significant improvement which is all we could ask for given we wern't able to recruit for this year and actually spent some time clearing the decks

Can't let stats get in the way of a good rant against the coach…........it's not like we've never been held to zero in the past or scored only 1 try before.......

Stats are handy things to have but seldom do they paint a true story. This year we have hardly had a injury and we have played teams who have been hard hit by injuries or key players missing and our draw has been okay. We have lost a lot of games that were their for the taking and instead of being in the top part of the table, we are in the cellar and approaching the grind stage of the season. At the end of last year I thought we had hit the bottom and this year was going to be a positive experience, but I am struggling to think of any real positives so far in 2015\. Fingers crossed things are about to turn around, but you would not put money on it

Lol TD, it's not the loosing, it's boredom that gets to me. Zzzzzz

no argument about the boredom part  oh boy the last 2 games certainly have been snore fests

We have the most inexperienced side in the comp, the majority of the players had barely played any games together in the top grade due to years of injury and a new coach coming in on the back of drama after drama in the club….............why is that discounted?

People are fixated on the last 3 games, whilst ignoring the other 8 where we've been 'in' and a chance of winning all except for the Souths game (although I feel we still gave that a red hot go).

Not sure what people were expecting tbh. I'm impressed that we've only really been smashed in 1 game out of the first 11...............a far cry from previous years.

Perhaps you should read BB's post again and again and again.

I just can not see how anyone can take any positive out of our season so far except the fact that we have turned around our injury numbers and I would like to think Taylors S and C department can take some credit for this. As for our defense, the stats might paint a positive picture, I think it is more to do with who we played and when we played them. Anyway as I have said a million times I put this down to a sub standard roster more than what Taylor is doing. Like any coach he needs the cattle to get consistent good results and with some luck he may be able to attract some quality to the club for next year, lets face it all the other teams on struggle street a building up their rosters for 2016, so the way I see it is either join them or perish

The most defining word that I can come up with in any of my forum friends posts is…..frustration....

Some are frustrated because the forum members who are angry at the boring defensive structure that JT has implemented has been a boring farce..but needs to be adhered to so we become a much better, consistent defensive side up to NRL standard...this leads to inpatients and loss of interest.....

Some are frustrated because we have young highly reputed playmakers that are not allowed to produce some great attacking flair that could win us some games....we have to stick to the Taylor defensive structure....this leads to impatients and loss of interest....

So in saying what I have,I think we are stuck between a rock and a hard place, untill this team gets what it has to do to become a winning team both in defense and attack...

How long this will take...I have no idea, but we can't go the entire season with the same formula, there must be some other ingredients, otherwise it becomes tasteless ...

FRUSTRATION......can make people do funny things at times,Im wondering if the team is frustrated...they might do something funny and win on Friday night...we can only hope....
