My Dad works with Keatings mother… The stories I have heard coming out of the Para camp are seriously funny! (If I was a para fan... it would be distressing)... Not one player there likes him... would you like him to come here and do the same?

I want to see another coach here at the tigers... I just don't think he's an improvement.... at all.

I heard Sterlo say on radio yesterday coaching isnt a popularity contest.
He's not there to be liked, hes there to coach footy.
Why does he have to be popular?
Why do players have to be popular?
Some of the best are very dislikeable, but they get results.
Gallen, Matai, Hodges etc etc
"Oooh I dont want him …hes a grub"

I agree with what you are saying to an extent… i just think coaches who are liked will always get more from a side, just how you always seem to put in more for managers or a boss who you like.

Lacks people skills … Atleast Sheens sticks up for his boys when the media pounds us .. Anderson just gets plain angry ... We need a crazy outspoken coach like Gus Gould ..

Sheens could use a dose of Anderson's anger once in a while to be honest…

The best coaches are people managers. They know how each individual works and makes personal attempts to ensure each individual is mentally prepared. Coaches who have "thier own ideas" generally dont get the best out of people, as they expect thier people to do it 'as they want it done'. With years of managing people, one thing I have learnt is my people will not do it the same way I would. Anderson would allow us to play this free-flowing football we are renowned for, but I fear he will treat the individual members of the team all alike.

3 of the greatest people managers within the Australian sporting landscape are Rod Macqueen, Wayne Bennett & Mark Taylor. All 3 would be worth upwards of $700k to $1M per year but would be a very smart investment if you want to be known as a Professional Sporting Brand. All 3 will bring plenty of Corporate Dollars to your structure which could ensure long term financial viability for up to 20 years. When Rod Macqueen was at the Wallabies, he not only took them from easy beats to World Champions, but he also took them within the Top 20 Sporting Brands in the World…

Daniel Anderson and Nathan Brown are only pimples within the Rugby League landscape!!!
