I don't think wayne bennet is a racist but just like any other coach he probably has his preference of player. Islanders are usually characterised by off the cuff, razzle-dazzle play. Historically speaking, that style of play doesn't sit well with Bennet and that could be a reason as to why he doesn't prefer islanders in his teams.

As for the comments he allegedly made to a player's father, thats a whole different can of worms there.

Happy I would take Zeb Taia right about now, could be the second rower we need to fill Bodene's spot.
