Danny Galea is dead wood. A centre who sheens thought could play in the front and second rows!! What a waste of space. Clear him out and get tuqiri. For the good of the club!!

Everyone has an opinon however I believe Danny more that justified his place for a new contract through his performances this year. He was awesome. He binds our pack nicely with his defence however it was only at the end did he start giving something in attack. The team and himself just need to find the balance for Galea and he would be the perfect foil in 2nd row with Ellis.
The line he ran to score his first try in our last game was the type of line he should of been running all year. I am still holding out hope that he is still with us next year.

not all of the game is attack, he may not be the best attacker but he is one of our teams best defender! he rarely makes mistakes!

Galea, to me, is still needed in our pack. He has proved that this year. When ever he was off the field our defence went out the window. The guy has come back from being out of football for nearly 18 months with his Achilles Heal injury and just need time on the field to fulfill his playing potential. Our loss will be someone elses gain if he indeed does go.
Galea is not a deadwood in my eyes and it is the quiet ones you need in your team that provide the balance for success.

I think it is very fair to say he has was the 2nd best 2nd rower this season… Ellis obviously first...
Anyone thinking he is deadwood are kidding themselves... I think they are the same people who think Fulton will cover the gap he'll leave should he goes... :unamused:

Galea should start looking after himself…...pretty decent to hang around seeing what eventuates with the marquee signings...before he even may get an offer from us.....he was the 2nd best backrower come to think of it.......but then I also see Dwyer, Schirnack, Mataka and Akeripa....as well as starting Fifita in the 2nd row.........

With Fulton coming back I don't think we need Danny Galea. We have alot of depth for the second row. I wouldn't mind if we kept him though. He is a pretty good defender. We probably need another prop instead though.
