My son made his amateur boxing debut the other night at Smithfield RSL, also on the undercard, the last of the amateurs for the night before the pros was a David Anderson, whos blurb read:

David 'DBA' Anderson is trained by two blues boxing at Cabra leagues in the old boys fight club section, and managed by Peter 'badhead' Mariani.
David is a former 1st grade RL player who played almost 100 games for Western Suburbs and Balmain Tigers before they were merged. David is a tenacious competitor who borders on ''psychotic'' when in competition. DBA is not here to just move round the ring for a muck around.

We didnt stick around to watch…does anyone recall this bloke?

What weight division & how did he go Ink? My mate has taken video footage when his son's fought & it gives him an idea on what he did good & what he can work on.

Young bloke went well…..Anderson was 91KG+

My bloke fought 58kg....his first up against much taller bloke with 2 prior losses, he went real good but ran out of puff, we didnt get the points but yeh the video does highlite on where hes green and what to work on
