David Klemmer #264

[weststigers]

Tigers have created some significant cap space for next season. Bateman, Papali'i, Klemmer & Utoikamanu off the books- I suspect there is a big target on the radar that the club puts a bunch of money into.

Probably not for this season- I'm talking next season onwards.

Still believe Richo will see Greg Inglis potential in Cobbo.

If we buy more backs after signing Taylan May, that will do me.

We desperately need 2 high quality forwards and 2 more that are banging the door down for NRL time.

[batboy]

add Olam's money to that pile.

And Bud

Cobbo is rumoured to sign an extension to 27 to leave him in the sights for PNG for 28.

He's on Drugs if he does.

Inglis and Cobbo are planets apart in most facets of the game.

Spot on 3 million in the bank won’t win anything , we need the cattle now so this year is not also a waste of time , no more rebuilds and major clean outs , start winning and do some house work end each season, we need to start bringing in players from Monday and we also can’t afford to loose on Sunday

Hopefully they have someone lined up for that money . It’s really only 300k they save , for the second half of the year .
Hopefully they give it to May and front load a lot of these contracts we need shored up .

Yes, these soon-to-be-finalised extra NRL franchises are going to really affect player recruitment and player loyalty.

Especially the money hungry players with more and more using the looking after the family card which is important if it is not a front for greed.

[Tucker]

Has his medical retirement been approved yet?

Not yet, but surely theres a good case for it and he was on a decent whack as well.

[hammertime]

Hopefully that's the last of the stupid clauses - with the exception of Luai's.

[Buttface]

Domino 2.

@Demps

[tigersfan]

Thanks for the effort and all the best Daavid Klemmer

Yep. It would be surprising if he was denied

One L Galvin will have a few in it don’t worry about that , if he stays hear it will be like Luai contract

Cobbo is close to Steve Renouf as they both come from Cherbourg. I cannot envisage him moving away from his community, not to say his manager won't use the new PNG team as leverage to get the best deal for his client.

Thank You David.

[hugh1954]

I didnt mind Klem, all I can say is I wish him all the best at the Dragons and in my opinion will be a good experienced get for Flanno..
I hope he stays injury free and exits the NRL with the respect he deserves when the time comes...

Will follow Sharon , Manly next

[AmericanHistoryX]

Sharon is gone. Netanyahu boss right now. And yes. I agree. We all wish he was man lee.

[Speed2burn]

Go for it mate, my missus probably thinks I need some tough love every now and then lol

As for Batemen he mentioned something about Klemmer getting out of the “crocodile roll” definitely a pot shot at our club
