It’s funny with Nofa, a lot of people either think he can do no wrong or that he’s the worst winger in the competition

I’ve been a critic but you can’t deny how well he’s playing. As long as the defence stays solid then what can you complain about?

His attack has been on another level and we really needed him to step up in that department this year and he has. Talau can hopefully continue his good form too and we will actually have some strike wingers for once

It’s the people who think he can do no wrong that grind my gears ..
Same as for Brooks .
They sit on there hands and wait until the “can do no wrong players “ have a blinder then say “ where are all the haters now”?

Same can be said for those that wait for a loss to say how crap they are then disappear until the next loss

Or the people who wait until full time before posting comments

It's Funny cause BJ has more defensive issues as a centre than Nofoaluma..at the moment they are all working great..together..

Yes this ^^^ Some of the best have had some glaring faults, bad reads and brain explosions. I remember a period when Ferguson couldn’t catch a high ball to save his life, every kicker would target him and Manu Vatevai had hands like feet yet both wingers represented their countries and were classed as two of the best.

Yeah for sure, you gotta be able to look at players positives and negatives. People are always gonna be bias towards their favourites though ?

Brooks ? Come on man ! That’s ludicrous. Say what you will about brooksy , but look at the broncos , a competent relatively young first grade halfback is like gold . And he’s better than assessment. There’s a reason why even a competent halfback like Hunt and Taylor got 1 mil a year.
Grants awesome , but in our club alone we have 2 highly rated lower league 9s on the way .
Sure Cam is a generational talent , so he’s an outlier , but don’t get it twisted , a talented half is worth a lot more than a talented 9. Mainly because of the gulf between 1st grade and lower division in that postion.

I've always backed Nofa, even if he's had a tough night. In the past, he's made some bad defensive decisions, but other times, he's been left to defend 2 or more players cause oppositions catch our middles out of position.

I've always believed he is best out of dummy half for a run, and not 1 receiver, as he seems to go too sideways. But out of dummy half, he makes a good 10 metres on average with a quick play the ball.

Myself & a mate always back him, to the point we sing his name to the tune of My Sharona, just for a laugh.

Nofo isn't without his deficiencies, he knows this and it's obvious Madge does because since dropping Benji and shifting Garner to the right side in attack and D, our structure has improved noticeably and Nofo in particular is benefiting from it.

He is in fine form every thing he touches in gold at the moment his on the run passing and kicking have been incredible.

He needs to lose the spook plays

I thought that the spook plays he did, (and the ones Reynolds has done) has served us very well. Really snuffed out the attack and strengthened the defence.

Maybe the better teams will take advantage of that and make us pay, that is a concern, some pinpoint kicker could kick for their winger behind our running up defence and really make us pay, but surely we've thought of that and we will be prepared.

It was a kind way of saying he’s ? and needs to get it out of his game .

Nofda is a great Tigers player. Has improved each year. Wish they all played with his heart and determination.

Most right wingers will get caught out defensively because most teams attack that side more because most players prefer the right to left pass. Thats a lot of attacking raids shifting towards him. I think most wingers, especially right wingers get caught out regularly and are Noffa just gets singled out on this forum for this

Have always loved the bloke. I have made my peace with the fact that some fans will only focus on a dropped ball or a poor play. Until they shoot lightning from their arses, our special players like Nofo and Benji will constantly be criticized.

33 year old Brett Morris is the benchmark winger in the NRL. Scoring tries or defending them, he has the best all round game of any winger. And of course as we saw a few weeks ago, he retains his pace. He has been a fine player and athlete. It is important to have perspective.

There is always someone that cops it on this forum, Fitzhenry, Moltzen and now Nofo have probably been the main targets over the years

I've been a huge critic of Nofo but he's having a very good season. Simple as that really.

Half a dozen good games don't make up for the years of mediocrity
Let's all hope he can keep up with his form

Its his defence of the high ball and his wing where he needs to show consistency IMO

Madge made the right decision. Plenty of people thought we would be screwed without Marshall, for some reason people thought we wouldn’t be able to score points without him. Defence noticeably improved and attack just as good
