It's Funny cause BJ has more defensive issues as a centre than Nofoaluma..at the moment they are all working great..together..

Even the best wingers in the game make bad decisions in defence..Brett Morris left his wing when Tedesco got Trampled by Sivo the other week..

When people like Brandy rate you he's OK by me..

BJ was suffering from the same disease that Nofo has had.

However the antibiotic they both are now using has worked fine.

It's called swapping JRey for Benji...no 5/8 running in leaves outside not exposed.

Perfect!!!!

i have been Nofo's harshest critic his attack is killing it and he is going great with the intercepts hope he keeps it up.
He might just be the bait Bellamy needs to release Grant to us next year if he collects dally M winger of the year and top try scorer then sacrifice him for Grant

Mate, he has to want to go.

He's not going because you want to get rid of him.

Considering we've lived through guys like Fitzhenry and Rankin on the wing this decade, it would be crazy to bag Nofoaluma.

Even with his defensive issues he's still worth a ton because of his ability to make metres. That alone helps us in the field position battle and indirectly in defence.

Also Reynolds and Garner have made a huge difference. Nofoaluma has had Marshall and Moses as his five-eighth for most of his career. That's two terrible defenders and then Kev Naiqama and Esan Marsters directly inside him who weren't good defenders either. I don't expect him to be perfect, but at least Joey and Josh read the game better and can force errors out of halves by limiting their time and give him a better chance to make great defensive plays like the intercepts rather than get burnt.

Maguire swapped in Garner for the non tacklers on the right.

JAC went from tigers to storm to state of origin could nofo do same with a power club

Absolutely! Despite his obvious talent, JAC had quite a few faults when he left us. Coaching, development and the players around him at the Storm improved his game immensely. Though we’re better at coaching and developing players apparently 😂

Nofo is Jesus.

No! Thor!

3 weeks ago I would have said Sponge Bob
Because everyone knows he is soft in Defence
But I can't say that now so I won't

Haha god dammit Moses/Naiqama/Nofoaluma is still the worst defensive combination I've ever seen. Once Kevvy left/moved out of the centres, Marsters was equally as bad.

He is short of stature and defensively suspect but ironically would not be out of place in a sky blue jersey. His ability to get sets started with his power running game playing as an extra forward would be highly suited to the origin arena.

Stranger things have happened

I have never had a problem with Nofo's heart or running game, my problem has always been that there was never any improvement in his defence, the same mistakes he made in 2013, missed tackles, poor reads, not numbering up, going for the intercept (always), lack of confidence and panicking when defending, were still there in 2019. They where never addressed and he never got better.
Enter 2020, to his credit all the hard work he has done with Madge seems to have improved his game, maintaining standards and accepting ownership of the positives and the negatives equally, are more than just words,
are keep up the good work Dave.

Nofo has lifted this year for sure and he now knows Madge will drop him for any defensive lapses. He can only get better so this weekend will be a genuine test for him.

One of our best week in week out. Cops a lot of flack for his defence and doesn’t enough credit for the good things he does during a game.

Noffa is my fave Tigers. He's a beast. Should be playing Origin in November and will be a big chance if we make the finals and have a good year.

"I have had a lot of centres who aren't actually centres so to have a specialist centre playing inside me makes me feel comfortable and as you can see our attack is really good."

Massive reason as to why Nofa has improved so much this year. Also like the fact he helped lure Luciano to the club 😂

I would love to see Nofo at fullback for the last two games. He is the closest thing to Teddy we have & would be a sensation in his current form breaking tackles popping up anywhere & fast. Time to experiment nothing to lose.

He actually was the fullback in Australian Schoolboys ...kept Tedesco out of the fullback spot .....
