@400 to 450K - Give him what he is asking.

Nofo Is a wholehearted Tiger

This is realistic especially compared to the rubbish players that have earnt more at this club and others in recent History.

Its such a no brainer to me

Are you sure he's not asking for more?

No mate Im not,

The Tigers are percieved to be a less desirable destination than any other club in the NRL at present. .

More thann anything else I want us to be a tough club on and off the field {melb like} but this sigmals how we treat the cream of our crop.

Realistically he is good winger. He is our.best and most recognised player now.

This descission is more than 100k

We cant allow nofo to be in another teams jersey.

We can at 600K +

I like Nofo a lot but the club needs to act as a professional business. If another club wants to pay those sort of dollars I wish Nofo the best playing for them.

$400k is a really good salary for a winger. He is a good winger. I like the guy a lot. We should try and keep him. Anything above 400k should be calmly thought through in the context of the teams requirements.

At the very least - he should not have to take a paycut i.e. 450k is what he is on now.

I'm okay with that. It's a really good salary but he has been good for us. Players have got to release though that is a top salary. It's coming out of other players salaries. That is why having guys like Reynolds on 700k kills you.

Reynolds , Packer and Mbye are the ones the rest of the playing group look up to as they are some of the league’s highest earners .

Dogs have reportedly offered JAC 500k per year for 4 years
would rather sign JAC than Nofo's 450k

For sure $50k extra is chicken feed

“500K” in Laundy’s dollars 🤔

The problem with Noffa is he's on overs as it is now, granted he's probably playing better than when he got this contract but thats why he's expecting an upgrade. He wants an upgrade on an overinflated contract, its a difficult one for the club but ultimately they put themselves in this position with the contract he is on now. I'd like him to stay but if we pay overs because he's on overs now we havent learnt anything.

With JAC on the market at the same time Nofo may have overvalued himself. If Parra was considering Nofa then surely they would be also weighing up going after JAC - if the numbers being talked about are accurate there is not much in it.

Yeah thats true and if the figures are accurate which they probably arent JAC at an extra $50 or so K is where i would be putting my money. But no doubt Jac has zero interest in coming here we are just there to push up his value.

I really think we can’t afford Nofa, I love the guy for what he brings but I think he’s too expensive if he’s asking more than $325k. I really do.
Nofa hasn’t played rep footy or finals. Take a look at the 2 wingers chosen for the blues ahead of Nofa? Both on much less than he’s asking. JAC $375k and Tupou $220k. Our admin is on track now to deliver a well balanced cap. The horror of 2017 is well behind us now . Let’s leave it there..please?

He's already on over 400k so I can't see why he'd settle for less when he has improved.

Where did you see reports he’s re-signing?

The original source is the DT so take it as you will however there's a few other fan pages mentioning the same.

Thats funny, the other day they put the boot in to us about Nofa leaving for a big money deal at Parra, talk of wanting $685k a year, now saying he is asking Wests for close to $450k a season. The Tele love to bash us at every available chance, so Nofa is not asking us to break the bank. Nofa at around $430-$440k is a fair deal, somehow now the Tele have turned to JAC to Dogs to belt us, garbage journo's with no credibility

Cotric on $600k is silly overs.
Mansour is not playing as well as Nofo and is 4 years older. He's rumored to be on $550k + which is way overs - why would we even consider that swap?

If any manager asks $685k for a winger they're kidding themselves and rapidly stroking their client.
I believe Nofo's ceiling is about $525k and hopefully he qualifies for loyalty discount to accommodate some of it. $475K would be value.

What if taking Mansour came with Laurie this year..

Riccio reads forums...

We'll probably end up with Ferguson then...?

Tigers "Confident" in signing Nofo. Not keen on Mansour. Could be a smoke screen. Like to think its true

Noffo at $685k is sheer salary cap suicide. $450k is generous. $375 is fair value for money imo. I hate how our "club legends" drag negotiations through the media.

That inference with Paps annoys me, they always fail to mention that he was behind Teddy at the time, in hindsight, if they knew what Teddy was going to do, they would have kept Paps for sure?

From what I can understand of the situation, they wouldn’t have had a snowflakes chance in hell of keeping Paps or anyone else. Paps left for the same reason Teddy and JAC did.
