There's no love for David Nofoaluma because he is appalling!

He certainly has had a bad half of football but imo Roberts has been worse

Roberts is on less than half Nofa's salary and only has a 1 year deal. We're stuck with Nofa for the next 3 years after this.....

Yes i know and i still hold out hope that Roberts can lift his game and find the form that he had 4-5 years ago so his contract can be upgraded. He has the ability its his commitment that is lacking and he hasnt looked the part in 5 games.Nofo is good for dirty hit ups and finishing moves today he had a poor one but that is not his normal performance

his defence has always been terrible and for years blamed on his centre partners he has the same problem no matter who he plays next too he can't defend
As for attack he is great if he got his defence right he would be a rep player.

He is not a great defender very few wingers are.To be honest i dont think he has had a good defender alongside him yet.In part that is because our edge crumbles forcing his center and him to jam in usually to no avail

Jad there is always an excuse for David every time
Jennings had an appalling game last year and was dropped not saying we drop nofo for the year but geez I think he had Roberts need a week in reserve grade or something

I am not saying you are wrong he had a poor game and was responsible for 2 tries imo

to be fair Roberts had a shocker too which probably made some errors look worse
no idea who we get to replace them though against souths it would be like throwing them to the wolves

I wouldn’t want to sit down for a meal at the Nofa & Jimmy share house. Both regularly have served up crap this year

Commentators today - "Nofoaluma must not have done his homework for this game, letting Hammer get on the outside, given he is arguably the fastest man in the NRL".

You watch the show pony try and defuse that bomb just before HT

7 minutes after HT you watch the Cowboys defuse a bomb the percentage way ..catch and drop to stay in the field of play

Another stupid clown

Kick us out

Ineptitude and arrogance is what he delivered yesterday. An NRL winger should know where to position himself in defence, how to tackle, that you may need to leap for a high ball and demonstrate humility after scoring a no try.

An NRL winger should also have genuine pace. He's as slow as a wet week. Maguire should be doing everything to ensure Gebbie is ready for the NRL to replace him.

Payten was smart enough to expose his shortcomings. Every team will now make sure he is under pressure.

He’s a show pony , all show and no go.

Second fastest in the league apparently. Remember that classic?

There's no defending Nofo - this is why he'll never play Origin.

Credit where it due though, he can finish off tries nicely (when pace isn't needed) - that put down on the weekend was very good.

We just don't have any other options right now.

I’m done with Nofo
Can’t stand him anymore

Remember when he spat the dummy about not playing origin last year? 😂

Should have swapped him for JAC

Gosh I think Hammer gave Nofa 10mts and still burned him just by pace alone. Wonder how Laurie came from behind and caught the hammer?

The obstruction rule has no commonsense or discretion.

As the Channel 9 commentators were bagging the bunker for reversing the try they said Roberts had zero effect on the defence even though he was technically in the line.

They award the try and I'm convinced we win - we were skiing downhill and they were shot.

I think Gus had a point re the Cowboys players not complaining. It’s kind of like an umpire giving a batsman out LBW when the bowler doesn’t appeal. Never happens.

A cricket umpire can’t give any one out even caught without someone appealing.
Here’s a tricky one “can the umpire at square leg give a batsman out LBW”?

The umpire at square leg cannot adjudge stump to stump dismissals like LBWs, but the funny thing is, a fieldsman at square leg can appeal for an LBW.

Technically incorrect.
Last ball of an over the ball strikes the batsman in front of the stumps,no one appeals umpire calls over.
Then moves to square leg, ‘before the bowler starts his run up’ a fielder asks the square leg umpire how was that LBW umpire replies Out.
This was ask of our group that just sat our umpire exam.
It would never happen as the minute a batsman gets hit everyone appeals.

Your umpires class has been told the technical answer, eh. You did say it was "tricky." I'd rather just keep it real.

Why did he not jump to catch the ball on the tryline when the Cowboys winger was chasing the ball to score? Nofo casually turned his back to the winger. missed the ball and the cowboys wingers scores a try.

This was very early in the match and his action would have had a demoralising on the team. As it turned out it costs Wests tigers the match. nofo is a show pony.

Thankfully I did not see the full game. I did see Nofa having a very very poor attempt at catching a ball just before half time which the Cowboys scored from. I appeared he was too lazy to jump an inch off the ground, disgraceful attempt.

Maybe Nofoaluma 's ego got the better of him and he wanted to show everyone how fast he (Nofoaluma) really is. He failed miserably but ego is ego.

he spends the whole time looking inside at wanting to rush in or go for glory and get an intercept. First half he let the fastest man in league stand outside him while doing this.
That edge has been a problem for years he's the only thing that is a constant.
