Does anyone know which happened first? Nofa resigning for 4 years, or Hartigan’s appointment?

According to Adam Hartigans linkedin he started in July 2019.

Nofa resigned in January 2021

There was a lot of pressure applied from Lee to re-sign Nofa.
He should stick to his profession and leave the football club to themselves.

I don’t think Lee is totally responsible. Nofa is a handy golfer and obviously a smooth talker. He plays golf with Benji in a contract year and gets 17 tries, is mentioned by everyone except the blues selectors for an origin spot. And when no other club will sign him, he plays golf with Lee, followed up by fine dining/wining, followed by a 4yr contract with an upgrade. ? gotta give credit where it’s due.

Club was under huge pressure to resign Nofa after the Aloiai drama.

Our chairman overstepped the mark. He could’ve had a perfectly cordial relationship with Nof at Slimey’s

I think it was intended as a power move but is now firmly biting us on the behind... funny thing is Madge had his hands tied in that position, by the very bloke you seem to be staunchly defending.

0 runs on the board for Lee at this stage.

He was on Radio at the time... Claimed the following:
- I guarantee David Nofoaluma is going nowhere!!
- In fact, I'll go one step further than that and state that David Nofoaluma IS Wests Tigers
I'd be surprised if these weren't the exact words used...

If David Nofoaluma IS Wests Tigers - Then we have no need to worry about being any better any time soon than we've been since he was here....

He posts his intercept highlights on Socials after letting in a bunch of tries after we've got a shellacking.
Seriously, He thinks he's the world greatest winger in a bad team... I wouldn't have him in the top 20 (Despite his recent accolades)
He's not even taking tough meters since he got resigned... The odd dummy half run and stupid crabbing across field.
The reason his defence hasn't improved (Under 6 or more coaches) Is he spends his time watching his highlight reels - Instead of the minute by minute stuff he gets wrong over time...
The guys that sit near me at games call him 'big screen' (Always looking at himself on the Big Screen)

Take notice of him in games - His opposite gets the ball on the edge 30-40m in front of him and he automatically starts running backwards...
If the ball is in front of him in any time in the game - He has no idea of what to do.
He's a dumb footballer!!
- I was glad Sterlo finally mentioned it in the game... He's been doing it for years
If I was tech savy, I would put together a highlight reel of him running backwards in Defence (It would go longer than Braveheart)

Been in Grade for almost 10 years, Been dropped more than once
for being crap in Defence and
1 - Still can't defend
2 - Still blaming other people...

Well it kind of is Nofa's fault. A professional footballer, a true professional footballer, would work on the deficiencies of his game and improve himself, he hasn't. To cite JAC's stats he now has a 76% tackle efficiency whilst Nofa has 64%, and as far as try causes go, I'm not going to say which is which, but one has 5, the other 18, see if you can pick which one is Nofa.
Lets face it, its not a part time gig, its not like rewires houses, drives a cab or tiles bathrooms, this his his job, he needs to be better.

Not arguing with you, but I remember the hard carries and finishing, not so much line breaks etc?

Try directly off the dropout vs Cronulla, plenty more successful intercepts, a ton more try assists too off half breaks and passing or kicking back inside (a few against the Bulldogs and Broncos I remember).

He was definitely much better in attack.

Back to the sideways running this year though ??.

‘It’s sad that I get blamed’: Tigers star vents frustration at teammates over shocking defence

David Nofoaluma may have ruffled a few feathers at the Wests Tigers after seemingly throwing his teammates under the bus in a response to a fan on Twitter.

The Tigers’ defence has been a sore point for their fans after conceding a total of 144 points in their last three games.

Their most alarming moment came in Round 15 when the Storm piled on 66 points and then last Sunday it looked like the Rabbitohs were heading down the same track until the Tigers managed to claw their way back into the game in the second half.

Some of the leaky defence has been on Nofaluma’s right edge, which triggered a fan to call out the 27-year-old for “failing to make a correct read since his debut in 2012,” according to Sporting News.

The criticism didn't sit well with Nofoaluma who defended himself while also dobbing in his teammates in a tweet that has since been deleted — but not before Sporting News spotted it.

“It’s sad that I get blamed for defensive decision,” Nofoaluma said.

“In the first half our A and B defenders didn’t get up to put pressure than (sic) Moses (Mbye) was getting caught so left 3 on 2 for myself and Jet (James Roberts).

“In second half we got up in one line of defence and if you watched 2nd half D’d very well.”

It’s unclear why Nofoaluma chose to delete the tweet but with the Tigers languishing in 14th place on the ladder and reports coach Michael Maguire is not as safe in his job as first thought, perhaps publicly sharing anything that could suggest not everyone in the team is on the same page was a bad idea in the first place.

Koroibete and JAC are fast enough to make up any deficiencies..
Koroibete was a crap defender - I'm guessing you weren't old enough to remember when Koroibete absolutely pole axed a run away Sandow when they were whooping us at Campbelltown way back??

Totally changed the momentum of the game and we put 50 on them....

I don't have any memories like that of ole 'Big Screen'
