David Nofoaluma #164

The thing with Nofo, over 9 years now and even allowing him some slack regard the players inside him, you never see the centre inside him making a break, it always ends up in the overlap and the winger getting past.

Nofo obviously constantly is second guessing where and when to be, whether that is because he is totally incomptent or let down by those inside him. For years now I have thought that if I was either Nofo or the coach, I would stay on my winger no matter what, hell or high water.

Obviously it could result in the centre breaking through but that would be more clearly the men insides fault. I would be just sticking on my man no matter what and making sure that guy never got past.

He has never done it.

There's no point to keep on it...
Keep an eye on him, - as soon as his opposite gets the ball - He's running backwards (Even if they're still 30m in front of him)
He's clueless...

See JAC in the try QLD Scored in this origin series...
The shift came out and Capewell Scored because despite the threat - JAC stayed on his Winger...
It's that easy...

If you're inside men are too far in, Call them back out..
I can't believe it's here for 4 more years.

It’s an ongoing nightmare ?

Remember last year he spooked and actually made a tackle ( first time I can recall) but instead of just making the tackle he went on with it pushing the player into touch giving away a penalty ?

He’s crap .. no wonder he’s never been selected for SOO

Look out Nofo is going to speak on the 7 news.

And champion @Telltails, what did Noffa say this time?

Not much - Just a bit defensive.
"My decision bad judgement call, I 've never done anything wrong in my career"..... poor Nofo doesn't like being being called out.

There is a lot of ego there

Nofa can’t be defended while his defensive record is the worst of any wing in the nrl and the only highball he goes after contains a g&t.

A bit defensive huh? It would be the only time.
It’s reported that Nofa was dropped from the leadership group for arriving at training hung over . That was more than 7 weeks ago? The criticism of his teammates supposedly leaving him stranded in the defensive line was much more recent.

Nofoaluma is the new McQueen/Reynolds/Packer contract. That player who drags down the group through a combination of their attitude, playing ability and salary. We have four more long years of this if he doesn't get it together.

please lock this thread or at the very least remove the year from the title.

Seeing that 2025 hits me like a kick in the nads every time I see it.

He's not even in year 1 of his new contract.

Yeah, the contract seems way to long.
But with all of his faults, he always gives 100% and maybe there a message from the club there.
If we had 13 like him, bad reads and all I'm sure we'd be doing better than this just by commitment alone.
Seems to love our club. Can't say the same for many of the others

He could give 120% and it wouldn't be anywhere near good enough...

When you're running the wrong way in both attack and defence, It doesn't matter how much you try...
