I was watching Dr Tim Soutphommasane address to the Press Club on Race Discrimination today, and was glad he made comment about Dawns comments this morning.

These type of comments by anyone and high profile sporting identities are completely reckless and unacceptable!

Why would just those with specific backgrounds be offended ? Racism is offensive to everyone I would say ? Given she mentioned nothing about Polonesian or South Pacific or from what I know the backgrounds of the other players mentioned above so why would they be more offended then anyone else or someone from an anglo background ?

Back to Dawn. All her comments were spot on except for the obvious one. No one tells aggressive cricketers of Anglo descent to go back to England ( except Poms who want a better cricket team maybe lol) so I think in this case it isn't political correctness gone mad, simply common sense that there is no need to link ones heritage to their annoying was or competitive spirit
