By all reports that player may be Jesse Parahi, apparently very impressive at training, was even an article about him in the Tele. Being trialed at lock.
Marion Seve is being used to promote something, not sure what but Tim Simona posted a video of him in a photoshoot, could have been signed to a first grade contract, no other reason to use a 20s player for a promotion?

The whole mess of clubs releasing players at will, players breaking contracts when the feel like it and changing clubs at any time is a blight on the game. The NRL need to seriously look at this.

I can only assume he was told that guys like Heleta (who I've been told is killing it), Seve (who isn't a 20s player anymore milky, he is on a second tier contract) and Addo-Carr have gone ahead of him in the pecking order so it's best for him to look around or he may be looking at Ron Massey cup. If that's the case well done to the club in telling him early.

He was not good enough for 1st grade had plent of opportunities to prove it.. there never is a good time to punt anyone. so if its this side of christmas or after does not matter, all i care is the club is leaving no stone unturned and everyone is on notice from 1 - 13\. makes it a great dynamic for nxt yr..
One minute we're whinging cause we suck mega…. Then we get rid of average players and we still whinge

I don't have a problem with the timing as a lot of deck chairs are being moved amongst all teams at the moment. Maybe we are chatting to someone from another club or maybe as stated others have surged past him. Either way, we have two teams to fill and he obviously isn't considered to be useful in either. Will Malone be following, as Heleta and Seve are much stronger prospects?
