Are you surprised he wasnt selected at hooker for the bulldogs in tonights game against the raiders??? they have picke a halfback to play hooker, though that is not uncommon these days at all. I would have thought that he would have been first choice hooker for the dogs in tonights match up against the raiders. thoughts???

Not to my knowledge, he did play for new zealand though as hooker and a few games for as well.

Most teams were ready for him and the game changed in 06 Very few quick play the balls more dominant tackles etc and we weren't phsyically suited with a smaller more mobile pack back then He was certainly scooting from dummy half tonight though

the interpretation of the play the ball slowed ten fold in 2006 and has stayed the same since

every other team has worked this out except for us…

Just because he makes a few quick darts out of dummy half doesn't mean he's a hooker.

Where do you think his better position is lock, hooker, centre, second row?? thoughts i see him as a better centre and lock to my way of thinking.

His best position is probably lock, he's a little too slow to play in the centres. Have him at lock and get him running off some forward offloads, and darting out of dummy half after half breaks. I wouldn't however have him running the side out of dummy half like a hooker would do.
