Depth being tested

Lucy will be fine. We will probably see the likes of Seyfarth come back into the side. I'd give Bradley a go too.

As good as grants been was never in favour of giving Melbourne momorovski at the time I thought it would put a strain on our depth in the backs....might cost our season

Jennings is out for the year. McIntyre was taken to hospital. Luciano was more of a scare than anything, will have to wait a few days to find out more.

Who the heck do we play? Is there any speed left in Rowdy for him to slot in the centres? Or are we going to try a complete unknown such as Reece Hoffman, Kane Bradley or Zac Cini? Shawn Blore likely getting a debut.

What about johns at centre?

Does any one know , were blore is , re : making a appearance.

Training very well, doing great work in the gym apparently. Lower grade WT and Penrith players were supposedly having an opposed session over the weekend, I think Blore may have played but haven't heard anything.

Hey mate,if your talking Mattias Johns ,I don't think he is in the top 30 squad...

GEO or Willow may clarify...

The last time any news 'broke' about Blore it came from Facebook. I only think we'll know on Tuesday arvo.

Rowdy doesn't have the speed to play in the centres anymore, his lateral movement is pretty ordinary.

I think kids will be getting a call up this weekend.

If BJ doesn't smack Edwards it's a non issue. I do agree we are thin in the backs even before letting Corey go, but lets remember why we are looking especially thin this weekend. BJ has really let his team mates and the club down here.

Blore played against Penrith on Saturday our young guys had a run against theirs. If he did wel might earn himself a spot. Wouldn’t be surprised if we pick Seyfarth over him but then our bench would have 0 impact besides Mikaele which isn’t good, so personally would go Blore purely for that

If Madge thinks he's ready he'll get a go.

We're going to need some mongrel as Souths forwards are not flash and we can win the game up front. It will either be him or Packer I would think.

We have options for the bench, centre is my concern. Little Willie could slide in and Bradley could start but I am wary of moving a kid who has started well in a position. I suppose the dynamic is ruined anyway but Talau has played well and bagged a few tries so maybe he's high on confidence and up for it.

Youre right it’ll most likely be packer. I think Hoffman will come in, question is will he go straight into Joeys spot or will Talau shift over there. Hoffman is probably more of a centre than Talau to be honest that’s his listed position

Putting another slant on this, we could be down 4 forwards and still field an ok pack who are more than capable of getting the job done. On top of this we are still carrying McQueen and Packer.

Outside backs is the real issue but I hope we gamble on youth. We've seen what the other guys can do and it ain't pretty.

I was saying this earlier old man tiger, because we haven't had a reserve grade comp this season we cant gauge the quality of our youth and how they are playing..it makes it difficult to suggest players to step up into NRL and then having to rely on the older experienced players that most don't want in the team, however this is what Madge has to weigh up because he is watching closely at training and that's all he has got to go on..that game WTs v Panthers young guys the other night may have been good to see players and their game, hopefully more of these will be organised...
