In the post match conference , Hasler said that he's side couldn't buy a penalty tonight (is he kidding who?) and that we got away with alot in the tackles . How much did they held us down in the tackles and no penalties.
This guy is a dead set sook :bawling

I've almost damaged my third TV through stress and this guy is winging about a penalty count. Did he complain about being awarded a try from a shepherd?

des hasler is a deadset DH and in a league of his own. would be justice to see the aptly named dogs get knocked out of the finals by a ref blunder. one can only hope

We did win the penalty count convincingly I thought. He can't complain about 50/50 calls though, they all went his way. Hasler could win the grand final and still find something to complain about.

They should of questioned him the sheppard and if Farrah should of been the benefit of the doubt try? Both no -brainers.

Won't happen. The refs don't rule against Dessie..they know they would cop it after the match

Was at the game and thought we should have had many more penalties. The Dogs were offside all night and were holding down in the tackle. The Dogs don't win penalty counts because they have so many grub players with their captain being the number 1 offender. They even winged last week that refs don't respcet their grub captain. I was with a sharks supporter and he couldn't believe we didn't get an offside penalty in the first half of extra time when they were 2 metres in front of the ref.

Would love to see the refs cost the dogs a final game. Watching them tonight I am of the opinion that Manly or the Storm at thier best will steamroll the dogs in the finals.
 
Good coach but I don't know what game he was watching.
We were absolutely robbed, shouldn't of even went to golden point.

Meanwhile, Sheens:

Sheens said he would discuss video referee Sean Hampstead's decision with NRL officials.
"I'd rather talk to Harrigan and Raper (referees' bosses Bill and Stuart) about it. The same thing happened in State of Origin ... there's some grey areas that need to be addressed I suppose," he said. "You can't run around (a player) and take advantage of it. I know it was an unusual one but he ran around the man, the lead runner, and took advantage of it."

....sounds quite calm about it all. :bash

To be honest as much as I hate Hasler whinging about the refs I wished that Sheens unloaded more in the post match press confrence. The $10,000 fine you may get is the best money you can spend as every other referee is worried about you unloading on them post match.
