Kei seems very likely. Wouldn’t be surprised if there’s very few development players selected due to everything that’s happened this year. Maybe 2-3

If William Kei, isnt playing for our top grade next year we would have to be mad .. this kid is the real deal .. centre or wing .. he's big, fast and very hard to stop.. an attacking weapon out wide who knows how to find the line .. !! Has to be in our top 30 next season, if he isnt another club will scoop him up for sure .. and we'll be all saying .. another one we had, and lost .. aka JAC, Koribete, and Papenhuyzen

Where are you all seeing Kei tearing it up?

He played one reserve grade game this year and has been on ice due to COVID as far as I know and Parra let him go last year.

Don’t have an opinion on him yet as I haven’t seen enough but curious where all the confidence is coming from?

It will be interesting to know the identity of development players. There are a few good young halves in the Club. Best of all, most have come via the pathways.

Zac Camroux - 5/8 Balmain Holy Cross
Ben Stevanovic - 7 Balmain Holy Cross

Mikey Tannous - take up development contract 2022? Balmain

Well we know both Rizk and Camroux signed 3 year deals earlier this year, so they'd likely be there for next season. The following at the latest.
Hoffman is a definite.
Kei a possibility.
Tannous likely to be flegg then development contract you'd think unless they rate him super high.
Lui another possibility, he trained with the First grade squad last off season, a junior Kiwi.

And then using it as a lure for prospective signings.

Something good I have noticed is that all of our young players are very good friends. Simpkin, Hoffman, Madden, Blore, Cini, etc. all get on well. Ideally most of them kick on and they want to play for unders to keep the team together. I suppose that's the dream.

That could well have happened if Taylor wasn’t coach at the time.

If we get a similar batch come through then we need to ensure we don’t repeat the same mistakes.

If all the talk from the NRL is true i can't see them going with 5 development players. I would think 4 would be the maximum and even that is a guess.
