Discussing Wests Tigers/posting

We cannot all be "originals", however, i share your frustration with the negative bombardment of individuals. Milky at least offers alternatives, albeit a large number of them.

no offence to Milky - don't know the guy/girl -but many of these alternatives that he/she offers are derived from roots in Disneyland i, e. Mansour linked to Tigers - that was a beauty.

Its funny how the clowns on here think we'd need a squad of 70 in order to cover for all the replacements we'd need. In fact we'd only need a squad of about 25 which is what we have.

Its not different players posters want gone, its the same ones who have been playing well below average for an extended period that need to be dropped (namely Lawrence and Anasta). Bagging a player on the back of one or two bad games is nonsense. Bagging a player for 20-30 bad games is totally fine and should be encouraged.

Some fans seem to have very low expectations and accept mediocrity. Perhaps this is due to supporting a club for several decades without winning anything. No club can prosper if they continually settle for mediocrity. The club shouldn't accept it and neither should the players or the fans. If you stand still for too long, you end up going backwards.

this is a forum….
we're all here to discuss a similiar topic and share our views.

this is the type of thread that pops up every so often, just like it would on other forums of "some guy"sharing his opinion on other people's opinions.

Lock/delete.

No need to call out a user in particular that contributes positively to this forum on a vast range of topics no matter how "quality" they are or not.

It's all a discussion on various topics, if you think they're stupid you can state that rather than say.. "we need to stop doing this and start doing this" yeah, okay... well you do that and i'm sure people will join the discussion.

I introduced a tigers member to the forum two / three weeks ago.

His comment this week was, I just couldn't handle the number of negative comments about Anasta and things on general.

This is from a guy who doesn't rate Anasta.

So we are supposed to buy the jerseys, pay for the privilege to watch them play, to be the market to which the club can sell its sponsorship power… to be passionate enough to bask in the glories of wins with them, and also suffer the anguish of defeat, be the majority that allows/funds their ability to be payed as they are for doing what the average Joe Schmuck does for fun...

But not entitled to an opinion? Silently accept mediocrity, and in some cases abject failure by supposed professionals? What a joke...

No opinions allowed? That's the system people like Tony Abbott would really like.

Very well put.
