Growing up I always had a soft spot for Newtown , mainly because they seemed similiar to Wests with the underdog/ battler mentality they had

Often wondered if they had of won the GF v Parramatta if they would of managed to battle through their money issues

Had a soft spot for the Broncos when they first entered the comp , probably cause I knew some members of the original sides pretty well

How about yourself ??

I always had a soft spot for Souths. Unfortunately I dislike their supporters so now the soft spot for them is gone !

I have always had a second team once the finals come around as my side hardly ever features…9 times in 30 years if I recall correctly.

Mine used to be the Illawarra Steelers but the merge with St Drag put that to a quick death.
Also didn't mind North Sydney, they really should be back in the NRL IMO

I know a lot of people involved in the Brisbane bombers campaign. I really do hope that it gets up and operational. I will aways be a tiger at heart though..

2nd favorite was always the NS bears. The nrl should bring them back on the coast

West Wallsend magpies
Tp quote of sorts bill shankly - the other nrl teams could be playin in my front yard and I'd close the blinds

western suburbs magpies took me a long to digest the joint venture but im ok with it now i attend games again and am a solid with the west tigers.

ye they keep changing every year… atm sharkies coz of the tiger connection.

used to be broncos coz cousins went for them.

Supported Western Suburbs since 1977 then lost interest when they move grounds and were flogged each week.
Hated seeing Manly buy all our talent like Boyd, Ribot, Ray Brown, etc. love Tommy, Lamb and The late Dallas Donnelly.
Started supporting the Canberra Raiders in mid 80's as I loved their attacking style, ironically Sheens was their coach. Still think the Raiders team in the late 80's early 90's was the best club team I have ever seen. When the Wests Tigers commenced I was fully supportive and they became my team.

Also had a soft spot for the North Sydney Bears. North Sydney oval one of the best grounds to watch a game even though parking was hard to find.

Should return as the Central Coast Bears

Growing up I was a Balmain supporter but I had a soft spot for Canberra and the Eels. Canberra because of their great side in the early 90s and the Eels because my dad went for them after living there in the 80s era.
My soft spot for Canberra went when Mullins, Furner and Daley left in 2000\. And my soft spot for the Eels went when they continually belted the Tigers.

I always follow Newcastle just in case the Tigers are doing bad but the last couple of years they haven't gone so well. My son goes for the Titans so I have a bit of a soft spot for them, My husband is a "Doggies" tragic so I get brainwashed about them and my daughter loves the knights. We have a great rivalry between us in the house that I wouldn't change for a million dollars. I like more teams then I dislike. Some of my animals are called after Footy players.
Cat= Marshall
Cat= Preston
Dog = Braith
Dog= Akuika
Fish= Benji and Kurt

Always will be a Tigers tragic but I've got a soft spot for the Sharkies. Mostly because Gallen is my favourite player. He just has that tough as nails type of game and never give up attitude. Leads by example.
