Do this ASAP for 2016

I have to say I'm surprised how quiet Phil Moss has been since joining the tigers.
I know he's only been here 5 mins but when he was at parra and more recently at Penrith,
He made his presence felt and turned them around pretty quickly.

I wonder if someone's got him by the balls and not letting him make the tough but right decisions? Or maybe it's a case of watch this space…......

Marina Go seems to have had a great influence over the coach, ex-CEO and the directors.

Firstly offload
Lawrence (he has been better at 2nd row than centre but paid overs)
Galloway (let a super league give him a big pay day)
Lovett
Buchanan
Ava or Sue (keep one) I like them both but we only need one.
Santi
Moltzen
Peni
Halatau (I think Hala, Ava and Buch are off contract anyway)
Others??
Even if we have to pay part of their salary for 2016 it should still clear up around $950k or more
Buy
Jamal Idris
Chris Grevsmuhl
Pauli Pauli
Moses Masoe

2016
1- Teddy
2- Nofa
3- Idris
4- Simona
5- Richards/Kevin
6- Moses
7- Brooks
8- Woods
9- Farah
10- Masoe/Lodge
11- Sirro
12- Grevsmuhl
13- Marty Kapow
14- Lodge/masoe
15- Pauli Pauli
16- Sue/Ava
17- some one with spark (Cherrington, Te m Martin)

Or put it all on coach Bellyache

Are you serious - there the best players you can buy.

I'll stick to what we have thanks.

Lawerence was one of our best yesterday should offer a new contract but no where near the amount we are paying him now!
Mose Moase needs to be our 1 target exactly like Taupau very strong runs and makes some good hits another and apparently keen on a return to NRL
Jamal Idris is a risk but if we can get him for a decent price i would take him any day 24 years old still got another 7-8 years in him with heaps of experience
Docker and Grevsmuhl are a big yes
PUNT
As much as i love Farah i think its time for him to go 900k on a player who worries more about Origin than his own club Cherrington is a much more cheap version of Farah, Richards too old, too slow Nofo is a much better winger, Lovett, Galloway, Halatua, Santi, Moltzen, buchanan and Decrease Lawerence money should give us money for the players above and possibly even Bellyamy
OH AND DID I FORGET PUNT TAYLOR!

Farah can't win with some on here, if he hadn't played( which would have better for him,)
)and saved himself for the Origin game, he would have been blasted by half the supporters,
Instead he played with a separated collar bone and risked missing the origin game , and we still have people here saying that he puts Origin before the club. It was bad luck that the hand problem happened, but he was prepared to take the risk for the club just as he did for NSW.
As for his and Lawrences' ,contracts, the club can't make them take less money,( same applied with Sheens) the only thing they can do is get another club to take them , and pay what the other clubs won't.
We can't expect them to say " that's ok we'll just write off one or two hundred thousand dollars" so we look like SAnta."
Most here were overjoyed when both signed here, when other clubs were falling over themselves to sign them, and they've given good service to the Tigers, injuries happen and we all get older , and it may be a lesson to the club about 5 yr contracts.
But remember that we will probably struggle to get any top players if we are going to offer shorter terms than the other clubs
One other thing to remember about Farah, usually he's at the top , or near , as our top defender in most games. Without him, who do you want to step up and take on the extra defence that will be needed. We don't have any of our young blokes who will take on that extra load( as we saw yesterday)
Cherrington is still a long way off taking that job on, as his defence has been ok so far but still has a long way to go, but in the future could be the long term answer, unless he decides he wants to go where the grass ( and Coaching) looks greener
Which may become a big problem for before much longer, in a lot of ways.

Better do something soon or we will see them run into the ground, the result being the excuse the NRL is looking for to see the Perth Magpies.

I think everyone has Marina on the same milf level, that's why she has influence

Exactly who is going to take all these players on overs? Some mythical Gulf state Parramatta is going to come riding to the rescue by eating all of Galloway's remaining contract, are they? Or is this the magical land of England where they think Blake Ayshford is Greg Inglis? I mean, we haven't been able to shift Moltzen and we've been trying for the best part of three years - why would someone want Lawrence?

I mean, Farah: I love the guy, he's the club's all-time greatest player and I'll be first on my feet for a standing O at his last game. But yeah, there's a chance he's on a rapid decline (though he was fantastic for most of last season and he's also playing busted, so I'm not going to write him off just yet). But, what club is going to come in and pay the guy $900k a year for the rest of his contract?

Any chance that Moss himself might become CEO and we replace Moss's position instead ??

Well he currently is the acting CEO but i would be leaving him as GM of footy operations and leave the corprate stuff to someone else.
His first job should have been sorting out the cap.At the moment i don't see him or anyone else trying to fix that mess.Until thats sorted we will be spoon favourites year in year out

The sad thing is we need to keep some of these plodders for next year as the club appears broke or in a salary cap mess or both. You cant just let go of 8 to 10 players if there is no one to replace them. As tragic as that is.

Agree with everything you have written GCT.
Should do everything to keep young Mania though.

Yeah if he's brought through the right way, it will probably benefit Robbies game as well as get Mania accustomed to the top grade by the time he's ready to take on that role.
Keeping him may not be Easy though
