Do we really have a top 8 squad next year?

Honestly our spine is not sorted yet

1\. Tedesco
6\. N/A
7\. Brooks
9\. Farah

We have a awesome backline with Simona, Nofo, Koro and RIchards but that is where it stops…Our fullback is still working on his game and is nowhere near his best, Our halves aren't even sorted, our halfback has not even played a game in first grade. Our forward pack is LAZY most of the time but are improving. Sorry guys but my prediction for next year is 9th or 10th.

I think so yes. Without too many injuries:

1\. Tedesco (should kick on even better. only playing out of neccessity atm and recovering from an ACL)
2\. Big T/Richards
3\. Nofo
4\. Simona
5\. Koroibete
6\. Anasta
7\. Brooks (hope he does well, a lot of our performance next year depends on him)
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Sue
12\. Sirro
13\. Bell
14\. Blair
15\. Ava
16\. Taupau
17\. Buchanan

Pretty good imo.

I think we can put a really good forward pack and outside backs on the field each week. I think though that our spine looks ordinary.

Farah is a great player but he takes a lot of bad options. Kicking into touch on the 3rd tackle when we are attacking is not exactly a match winning play. Tedesco hasn't really kicked on at all. Sirro could be anything but is he really a half. Brooks and Moses have absolutely no experience and who knows if they will be able to step up into first grade.

It will be interesting and is really dependent to me on how well the spine play. If they start killing it and we get a good run with injuries I think we can make the top 8 easily.

Doesnt matter who's there…defence and strength/cond. needs working on

2nd row, center, 5/8 ...maybe f/back needs addressing

The big problem is, Two young kids in Brooks & Moses & everyone is banking on them. Moses will probably play a couple of 1st grade game next year & come in to 1st grade in 2015\. Brooks obviously will be the Half next year but we need an experienced partner for him in the Halves to make it easier for him, This is where someone like Wallace could come in handy if we sign him @ a reasonable price. So @ the moment not a top Eight Team.

I think most people need to take a step back and look at the young and inexperience in the team. Sure it's great to see chances but don't get hopes up of something special next year. It's truly a rebuilding season next year.

has nofo played centre? Or are people assuming he can play in that position?

to me he looks really suited to wing whereas compared to simona he has shown he has a beast fend and the pace to get outside his player(scored a try from the center position earlier in the year ) and has played most his juniors in that position.

Just a question would like to know.

I don't think you can rule out any team next year making the top 8 just based on their roster.

Swap Fulton into your line up for Bell. Big T onto bench as the impact player, Buchanan works hard though will benefit from a season in NSW cup. It's a team with lots of potential.

Personally I would buy Wallace on two year deal as 5/8, subsidised by Broncos

It really depends on our Forwards and our halfback. No team can look good if the Forwards don't take you down the field and the halfback isn't steering the ship.
We have seen how much Sutton from Souths has improved with a quality halfback and big forwards.

I have watched a lot of Brooks and he is a classy player a real halfback who would have been butchered if Marshall had stayed. Not even Anasta is willing to overcall Benji but with him gone Brooks will do well and Anasta will be 5/8 untill Moses is ready.

If we could just buy some more big boppers to play the Mick Potter way and injury free of course we will be top 8.

As honest as I can be, no we don't. However there is enormous potential in our squad so things can be definitely change there. If I was to guess, I reckon we will have a few rough weeks early on and get better as we go on.

We need a couple of big name signings like the roosters did this year one forward one back..otherwise we have no chance.

forget the positions at the moment - im sure potter has a plan..

just look at the personnel.

nofu
koro
simona
richards
mr T
brooks
farah
woods
galloway
blair
fulton
sirro
sue
tapau

if they stay fit we will be in good shape

I think we'll only be a chance for the 8 if we suffer 6 injuries or less all season. Chances of that happening though…bugger all I reckon. Realistically 2015 is when we should make a move with the club buying a couple of high profile players to help balance things out across the squad hopefully.

IMO we still need 1 hard nut in the forwards like a Hargreaves type who just charges, so we can play offthe back of those charges. But the one thing that will decide if were a top 8 team is our halves! They really need to first and foremost have a top notch kicking game, really take control but I can't see it happening in their first year. Teddy a big ? Is he the one i can't see it at the moment. 10th to spoon. Realistically
