Do you think the break has come at a bad time ??

I was just thinking before that this break may have come at a bad time

We aren't the best team after a bye and we were slowly building some momentum and starting to show some form

The break may be a good thing for Parra

Hope I'm just being paranoid :crazy but i would of preferred our first break to be the game after the Titans , following 3 away games

Thoughts

Happy Tiger was thinking the same , but now with injury prone Galloway out this week might not be a bad thing and with Farah being pulled out of the Panthers game heavily concussed he might not got on this week, with the new concussion rules who knows but then again has been selected for City this week so that counts it out…..

Thinking from a players point of view after finally getting our first win ( i don't count the Sharks game) i would want to be playing this week. I think it has come at a bad time despite the injuries.

Its not the break thats come at the wrong time, its us getting our act together which has come at the wrong time.

Not really no, it's like we were at our best anyway. I think the break will be good for a few players.

I agree. Good for a few players. Both those that need rehab/rest and those that need a run: Ayshford et al.

It allows several players to get over some niggles hopefully, and with a few players on rep duty this weekend, I would have been worried about some of them backing up, plus Sauce is injured again so we would have been down a front rower again this weekend.

Couldn't be better timing in my opinion! We have a week off, the 2 games we should win, then the bye! Excellent timing!

Gives Moltzen weeks of bomb practice

which can only be a good thing.

If 6 months in the off-season didn't help, i doubt 2 weeks now will help

Moltzen should be having a run for BRET this week for sure. Moltzen comes across as a confidence player and carving up a state cup team would do him wonders.

I agree. We've been bashed from pillar to post for the best part of seven weeks. I think the guys need a rest. While I'm happy Lawrence made City, I reckon he could do better with a fortnight of rest.

How many has he actually dropped?
He left a few for his wingers - maybe his mistake , but he hasn't dropped too many (if any)
And if you do recall he spent the off season training at halfback.
On topic the break will do us good - a lot of guys playing injured.

For sure, but only a few guys will actually be getting a rest though. Ashyford, Utai, Moors and BMM are playing NSW cup, you have a majority of the forwards playing for city or NSW u/20s. Benji and Blair playing for NZ. Doesn't leave too many blokes with a week off! (I think 10 of the top squad will be playing in some shape or form this weekend). Still glad Keith was ruled out to play the City V Country game, something tells me he would've played if it was a club game but we need him fit and firing for the rest of the season!
