Does it feel like

we are just plodding along? Limping our way throug a competition that hasn't yet sorted itself out, except perhaps for the team led by our former bus driver?

To me, I just don't understand what style of play we are trying to embedded into this team. In previous years, at least we had the Benji ball approach, pleasing to the eye (but much less on the scoreboard). We can blame the injuries, but even allowing for this, I'd have expected to see some sort of executionable plan, a general sense of direction, of purpose. Is it too much to ask?

On the match today. Played between the two teams that were just a little above reserve grade standard. Considering the flogging we had received the week before, I was hoping for us to come out firing for the entire game - but alas that fire didn't last long at all. Except for a few embers, here and there, which the rain hadn't put out.

Just as well, we didn't leave LO on a sad note. "Cause God knows, there have been many, too many this year.

Dolphins at Campbelltown next. Here's hoping that the LO spirit descends upon all at the game, players included...

At one stage we had Bunty Afoa, Tony Sukkar, Alex Seyfarth, Patrick Herbert, Jock Madden, Latu Fainu playing out of position, Starford T’oa on the field at the same time … players that would be lucky to get a gig anywhere else

I’m bloody proud of the team for fighting the way they did especially at 24-12 down when it felt like they were just gonna roll over

Api and Doueihi back next week and we’re a completely different team
