Dogs Farah next chance

My bulldogs mate is saying that the dogs would like Farah as dogs young playmakers have been inconsistent, talk of player swap for Lloyd perretts little brother.

Maybe reason Leeds deal didn't happen Farah wants to stay in the show for as long as possible. His reasonable performances at soo level might have sparked some interest and any club going for tilt at comp a bit short on
Hooking experience worth a shot.

Or maybe we might need him now he is one of our few recognised hookers.

Geez I'm sick of talking about it

Lloyd Perrett's little brother? Do you mean Sam Perrett's little brother who in fact is Lloyd Perrett?

*mindblown*

I'm happy if he goes, but we can't be left with our only hooker next yr being a 33 yr old coming off a second knee reco. Any deal the club makes for Farah to leave must include a replacement. And there aren't many candidates out there atm, so maybe we're better off just keeping him. Though, Lichha would probably suit our side and the way Taylor wants his no 9 to play. He's a ball distributor at the Dogs, nothing more.

Hopefully the dogs fork out some of Farahs salary for the swap, and if Segeyaros clause in his Leeds contract is correct, we may get a big young prop and a decent hooker in the swap.

That would be an awesome result.

Hasler likes 9s that just stand and offload like Ballin and Lichaa. No way that Farah would fit into Haslers methods.

He would actually work quite well there with their big forwards, they could play a really up tempo style like the Bunnies did in 2014 when they won. He'd just have to be playing really direct like he was for the Blues in the first half the other night.

That really would be a great result, only Liddle might not think so.

Robbie grew up in the shadows of Belmote Oval and was a Bulldogs supporter as a child, I believe.

Getting back to his roots? At present, we need him to play out his contract as he is easily the best hooker at the Wests Tigers.

Prior to all this mess with Farah… In fact all the way to beginning of season 2015 I was aware that Farah had spoken to Hasler about a move to the Doggies.

I didn't (publicly) post it because I knew how de-stabilising it would be. I say it now with context so we are clear, Hasler rates Farah and could see a role for him at the Dogs back then.

Personally, I could see Farah run amuck behind the Bulldogs pack.

I'd say your mate needs to lay off hard liquor…He'd be very long odds to be at another NRL club next season especially the Dogs.

Everybody rates him.
Everyone wants him.
Nobody signs him.

No one can afford him
And that not his fault
I suppose some could pay less for him and then hive him more later…..
Or has someone already thought of that. It'd work well

The Tigers would happily subsidise. He wouldn't be expensive at all

If that was the case , and we had to pay most of his contract, there's not much use in him leaving is there.
If we don't end up with a bag full of money, why get rid of the best hooker we have?
And you are forgetting that he signed to be here until the end of his contract, and has the right to do that if he wants to.
It's his decision where he lives and plays.

I'm talking half his contract and the benefits are pretty obvious to me and most on this forum.

Of course he has the rights to stay. Taylor also has a contract and has rights to bench him or play him in new cup if he wants . Particularly if he continues to create distabiling media articles.

Back on topic, would love for the dogs to take him.
