Dogs give Fifita his walking papers

Unbelievable.

Surely it has to do with what he had said in the media about wishing he had gone to Rugby instead.

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have today advised Andrew Fifita’s management that he will not be playing for the Club given the final terms of the NRL Playing Contract could not be agreed.

Bulldogs Chief Executive Raelene Castle has offered the following comment:

“After signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Andrew we’ve not been able to agree on the final terms of his NRL Playing Contract and have ceased negotiations with his management.

“We wish Andrew all the best for the future" Castle said

"Andrew is disappointed that we could not finalise terms with the Bulldogs but we still have several options in the pipeline to explore," Fifitas Management Group I.am Athlete Management said.

:roll

That will learn ya to shut ya fat trap

Off to Union now Bye :righton:

Good. That's what he gets for thinking he's bigger than the game. After all that rubbish about making the decision for family reasons you'd think he'd have his head screwed on enough not to make such a ridiculous comment.

Good on the Doggies for making the call, just paws off Teddy now please.

Cue the frantic Tigers fans fretting over Tedesco. I bet Grant Mayer's twitter account is going to be flooded this afternoon

They defiantly let him go why would u want to sign a player on a huge contract, then a couple of days later he comes out and says he would prefer to go to union, good on the dogs for ceasing the negotiations

Might be a lot more to this - maybe the dogs have been contacted by the salary cap auditor and offered a calculator that adds up in Aussie dollars not Yen..

Is saying he wished he chose union all those years ago really grounds for terminating a contract? I'm not fully aware of the law regarding contracts but that seems like a dodgy reason to me

Jeez the sharks fans have turned on him - most are saying on their forum to forget him. Having a real laugh at his over inflated ego.

They didn't terminate his contract , they just couldn't agree to final terms

Maybe a TPA fell through , we will never know
