Is saying he wished he chose union all those years ago really grounds for terminating a contract? I'm not fully aware of the law regarding contracts but that seems like a dodgy reason to me

They didn't terminate his contract , they just couldn't agree to final terms

Maybe a TPA fell through , we will never know

The TPA is apparently the issue and that makes sense. His remarks have been used out of context by just about every one of the usual RL mouthpieces.

I think they put an amount to the NRL to
Include under the salary cap and the rest to be TPA. It wouldn't surprise me if the NRL said that the amount under the salary cap had to be increased significantly before we register the contract like they did with Izzy and the Eels. This made the Dogs realise they couldn't afford his deal and be under the salary cap with the other players signed and accordingly they withdrew the offer.

It has just dawned on the Bulldogs that if they need another front-rower they should just throw a pair of boots to Raelene Castle, FMD, im not convinced that she isn't Blocker Roach in drag ala The Footy Show. She would frighten a hungry dog out of a butcher's shop.

Didn't know you were a brad Pitt lookalike.

Sorry to offend all the PC hippies out there Justo. Will keep it in mind next time. Fifita will end up at the Roosters in the not too distant future, they seemingly have a bottomless pit of cash and a larger salary cap than everyone else.

Know it's a joke but she really should be judged on her CEO ability, not her appearance. I'm sure no other club CEO would receive would comments like that. I'm definitely not overly PC, but a blokes physical appearance doesn't cop bagging like this. Then again, it is a footy forum…

Full credit to the Dogs for judging her merits and appointing her in the first place.
