When they throw the majority of their attack to Gildart and AJ and ignore the strength of the other side..... I'd say they got schooled.

Amones played like a handful of games, Sullivan was thrown in the deep end and Mbye is.... well we all know how good he Is.

All we had to do was shut down Hunt and attack to Nofos edge.

I dont know what you are on tonight.... Nofo's edge? Garner cannot run or ball play, and Nofo runs for 300m per game, 270 of them sideways!

I dont know where half of you are seeing this massive step up in Nofo and Garner when compared to Gildart and Kepoa! Wish we had an upgrade on all 4 of them. Its a shame Nofo makes the cut at full strength...

I don’t think we were “schooled” by their spine. A couple of poor moments in D resulted in their 2 tries and we could have had 2 tries as well. I do think our FB and DH offered very little to us in Attack.
Liddle is trying but does not seem to have the fitness to make tackles, run from DH, give quality service or actually be in position half the time. He seems to go missing more often than any 9 in the game and looks out on his feet after 20 mins.

Poor use of bench as usual by the coach, that’s the area we struggle the most. Liddle is not an 80 minute player, bench him at 30 then back on 50-60th minute. Not rocket science l, but Einstein struggles in that department!
Look we are doing pretty well considering the injuries, but it was there to win!

Hastings tried a number of times on that edge, but Garner's lack of experience at centre showed. We need to be turning balls inside, trying to deceive them through line-running. But Garner just floated outside Luciano all game.

Was there for the taking, and unfortunately, it really looks like they are all trying, just that some of them dont understand how to work as a unit. Definitely turned the corner though. Still heartbreaking...

It came down to mistakes, dummy half play and the ref giving zero reward to our forwards. Allowed the Dragons to slow down the game no end, especially to end the first half.

Also, would a grubber in goal hurt once in a while on tackle 6?

As has been point out our backline is completely impotent. A couple of players returning helps. Bringing Madden on from the bench and changing the halves is also dumb and disrupts the team a crucial times. I understand the injury toll has played its part but we’ve also made poor selections.

None of the above makes him a competent first grade player.... about 3 yrs ago he forgot how to play the game. Maybe he is like the waterboy and we need a trainer out there telling him which way the try line is...

Brooks going to hooker definitely improves our service. Even the haters have to agree he doesnt kick rocks in there, has a red hot go, and would be our best there.

I like Brooks at 9 and think he does a good job there however you can’t be flicking your 6 to 9 mid game. We are weaker overall with that move

Nofo is our best finisher and a proven try scorer.
Throw a god damned face ball past Garner and give Nofo some room. He will score.

That game came down to 2 moments , both show how far gildart has to go to be first grade standard .
I feel for him , in SL he could get away with a couple of bad reads , here , a bad read can be the difference between a second contract and playing park footy .
As a side note , he really needs to get the scoot from dummy half 10m out coming out of trouble out of his game .
I know all backs are taught to get away from the markers , so go out and up , but that does not work in first grade . Most nrl players are taught not to do it anymore . It simply kills the set restarts

Backs are bloody horrendous. I have seen noffa running harder lately to his credit. Actually got smashed tonight but at least he ran straight

Let's not slit our wrists. Gonna win more than we lose if you put that effort in every week. Last 3 games our forward pack has been outstanding. Even absolute bludger Mikaele has been very good. Put AD and Laurie back in the team and the result is different, much more than if they had Jack Bird.
