Who could forget Dr Kuah's efforts on farah before the soufs game in 2007 ?
Who could forget Dr Kuah's efforts on needling up Galloway at the SCG after he came off with a dislocated knee, went back on and was then out for 10 wks.
Well Dr Kuah's misfiring needle has struck again … Fulton had a bad sternum, Dr Kuah aimed his misfirng needle at Fulton's calf and Fulton could not walk

Another super effort from the bulk billing, Dr Kuah

**The only shock is the Qld Dept of Health haven't appointed him in Dr Jayant Patel's position**

Cant u read DJM619???

big call from someone with no medicine back ground…

more like keyboard warrior back ground.. mind u who really only joined this forum to bag someone

My English is fairly good, enough to read and know that the text you quoted is not an accusation of any kind.

T Rexx .. tell me what happened to Fulton

I'm waiting

Tell me what happened to farah against souths, moltzen and Galloway while you're at it

Then find me another club that has had this happen to them

Accusation by inferrence is actually quite common

team looses.. lets unload a backlash at everyone exept the people on the field

TRoy

Some of us understand your frustration Troy. Unfortunately there is a minority who point the finger at the club staff for all the wrong reasons and this unfortunately is one of them.

nah ill let u live in ur own little lah lah land… people with common sence, knowledge and half a brain will know where i am coming from... and i dont need to justify my self to a kid... what ever i say, will be tunred around so what is the point...

The end... simple

We need people like Calvins on this forum.

At least he realises that the people we have in power in the office are a detriment to the club, and do not, in any way, shape or form add any value to the team either on the field as a powerhouse or off the field as a well-run business enterprise.

True, but I doubt he meant it that way. All he is saying is that something is not right.

Stuffing up needles doesn't seem to be common in other clubs, but it has happened to us 4 times in the past few years. Something obviously isnt right and it should probably be looked into.

In saying that, it is in no way the Doc's fault that we lost yesterday. Anyone who thinks that needs to wake up to themselves.

So Humphries is a detriment to the Club. Well Done

I saw no one cast any criticisms on Humphreys.
Kuah would have been a Noyce appointment
Like the recruitment manager that signed his son for 3 years
Like the coach who was given a fat 3 year deal on the back of 3 yrs of failure in 2008
Like the garbage st george second rower who was signed for $350 large in his last season with us
Like the defensive coach who has us still copping 24 points a game (on a good week)
We need Mother Hubbard's broom

I would disagree.

The off handed refference to Dr Patel was a very deliberate one and a very predictable one as it has been said before by the same people.

It is akin to me making a statement such as

"Calvin has a very keen interest in junior football.

It is no suprise that Department of Housing have him sharing accomodation with Dennis Fergurson"

Hirst is a statement. Second is an inferrence which draws on certain known facts about Mr Fergurson

Not previously in power, but currently. I think that includes Mr Humpries.

Doesn't sound like the bio of a quack to me… Other pretty high ranking sports bodies seem to have a high opinion of him.

"Dr Donald Kuah is an experienced sports physician specialist and one of the founding practitioners at Sydney Sports Medicine Centre in Olympic Park. He has been the NSW Institute of Sport Medical Director sincethe year 2000, being responsible for the state’s top 750 elite athletes. He is also the Chief Medical Officer to the Wests Tigers NRL team (2003 - current) and has previously been team doctor to the Sydney Kings basketball team.

Dr Kuah has had extensive experience with elite national teams. He has been involved with the Australian and NSW weightlifting teams, and has been Medical Officer to the Australian men’s hockey team since 1997\. He was part of the Australian medical team at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, and the Olympic Games team in Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008\. At the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games, he was appointed the Clinical Director to the Village Polyclinic and worked full-time for SOCOG for a period of four months.

For his services to sports medicine, the Commonwealth awarded the yr 2000 Sports Medal to Dr Kuah."

I have far much more respect for his father.

My biggest gripe is the way he was given power.

Scott Longmuir did what any CEO should have done, made his employees answer to a criteria that ensues success.

Sheens' job is to win football games.

But, with his poor record and the fact that he has the wool pulled over everyones eyes that he is a good coach, he needed to do something to dissuade the KPI's that were issued.

His method… Cry to the media who he controls.

They berate such a legend of the game being made to answer to a KPI's and even laughed about the term being used in the sporting sense.

Scott Longmuirs' job becomes untenable and bango, he's gone.

It was a surge of power that would be the envy of any from the Roman Empire down to Victorian England.

If Fulton was "ill all week" then why was there no player on standby for him?

This is my only real gripe with the whole situation. I'm no doctor, but surely you would have someone on standby if such a case arises (or even if someone was to go down during the warm up).

I disagree with the way Longmuirs job was handled as well but with people of the calibre of Humpries out there he maybe was not the best appointment regardless.

I just wish Scott was still the head of our Marketing department and was never shifted across to CEO

As reported in the media at the time Longmuir endured the Night of the Long Shanks, Warren McDonnell applied for the position of CEO…

Could you imagine how bad he would be at the helm?

Thats my issue. The facts are being clouded by Sheens. Why?
I know nothing about medicine or sports science.
But there was either a needle or there was no needle.
If there was an injection, was it for the flu or for an injury?
If there was a needle, did it work or not work?
Do you believe Fulton was sick and in doubt T-Rexx?

Would you regard these as reasonable questions from a fan, or more so-called dribble.

@T-REXX said:
OMFG,

will u find the facts out before u write dribble like this? JC

**Don't forget Moltzens elbow early last year. That needle left him with no feeling and he had to withdraw. Thats another to add to the list.**

I'm in no way blaming Kuah for the loss, but I think the original post was a fair enough point to raise. I was going to also once I heard this prior to kickoff, win, lose or draw. The attack against the original poster is unfair imo. To say he's just upset after a loss is simply a very poor response to a serious post.

Just like the players and the coach, the doctor is aslo subject to the fans ridicule if they have a bad game. Dr Kuah has had a few of those in recent years. Degrees or medical knowledge mean nothing. In commoners talk, the needle didn't work. Surely they were banking on it working, seeing there was nobody on stand by. It all points towards a stuff up.

The thing that disturbs me is there seems to be somewhat of a cover up by Sheens and co. If this is something that was unavoidable or simply a 50/50 chance of getting right to play with an injection, then why not just say it went wrong. This should be the main point of this discussion imo.
