I think its about time we dropped a few underperforming players

cya lui, mckinnon, ryan, possibly moltz and make them earn their stripes and build some confidence in nsw cup…bring a few youngens in to shake up the team and keep them on their toes.

I think the attack on McKinnon by some on the forum is unwarranted when IMO he has only had one bad game. But a few need to be dropped to get the message across. Sheens said after a poor game on 2009 that some players needed to get a new attitude or seriously consider if they wanted to be first graders. But guess what ….. Noone got dropped!

possibly Moltzen? he hasn't come on at all this yr and hasn't contributed a thing and you think he should 'possibly' be dropped? yet you think McKinnon and Lui deserve to be dropped before him? McKinnon had a bad game aginst the Dogs, however its the first bad game he's played for the Tigers. He deserves some slack.Pretty boy Tim however deserves none.He should be shaking hands with the BRET coach this week if Marshall,Lawrence and Utai return

I fail to see how dropping players will ever give them more confidence.

easy bud
these players are playing terrible in first grade and are struggling to come up with answers…putting back to nsw cup where they are a head above those blokes they will be able to play a much more confident and they will also get that good kick to know they are underperforming and will start playing harder for the ones who havent been trying enough and have been lazy

Yer mate you make a good point

the reason i said possibly with moltzen is simply because he has been passed around the team and it is a bit harder for players to play consistent when they are not continually playing in the same position week in week out as they are unable to work on the areas they are really struggling in in that position…......although at the same time brown has been in the same situation and has handled everything that has come at him.

so yeah in saying that moltz should be dropped

You would drop Moltzen before Lui?
You been watching Lui tackle this year - or last year?
Have you got something against Moltzen apart from being "a pretty boy"?
The guy hasn't been in one position for more than two weeks all year .
Lui has been given an armchair ride all year and got progressively worse.

 @ wanting Ryan and McKinnon dropped. You are clueless mate.

Have you been watching either play?

Will be surprised if anyone is dropped unless injured, we've had the bye all will be forgiven, McHales Navy sails along

Moltzen isn't a vital part to this team,Lui is.Yeah he has been shocking in defense but once he gets that sorted he'll be fine. Its pretty obvious Lui is worth more to this team then Moltzen.Good to see he has a few die hard fans left though, even after the lack of commitment he's shown this yr

McKinnon's poor game last start was due to a couple of broken ribs!
While I accept Ryan is not in the top twenty of wingers in the NRL, he is not the worst and he does give 100% or more in most games he plays. This cannot be said for all of the Tigers players.
Certainly, Lui's defence needs to improve, but he does offer more half-back organising ability than Moltzen does, so who do you think Sheens should pick? I think (and HOPE!) Miller offers more in the long term and I would take the punt and give him more fair dinkum time as half. I gather his instructions in his only appearance at NRL level did not allow him to show his real worth.
I thought the idea was to blood one or two young players at a time in the NRL, when a top-level player in his position is injured. The only way a player can demonstrate he is capable of performing at the top level IS TO PLAY IN THE TOP LEVEL!

You basically just said how hopeless he is and then said how important to the team he is!
He has had bad game after bad game! In fact he has only had one decent game all year and we are heading into round 18.
If Moltzen (or even Miller) was given that much time at half we'd be a lot better off now.

Sheens is reluctant to drop anyone to NSW cup. The standard is so far below NRL its not funny. He only drops the young guys back to NYC. Just like Miller and BMM.

McKinnon will be out through injury. Moltzen and Lui will both be there. There are some things in life you just need to learn to accept.
