"Shattered Dreams" had to be amongst the best finishers
@Cultured Bogan said:It's just not the same since the Monday night wars. Competition between the two companies ensured that the storylines were good. Both promotions had good talent but as soon as it was all under the one banner, it went to rubbish very quickly.
Was watching the Simpsons on Saturday morning and walked away from the television for five minutes and when I'd come back the WWE was on. I hardly recognised anyone, and it looks as though all they do is stand around and talk smack now. Do they even wrestle anymore or is it a steriod-fuelled soapie?

The WWE has shifted to bringing their A-Game in terms of actual wrestling now to PPV's only - most TV matches are just that - TV matches designed to move the storyline alone, and are generally throwaway.
Occasionally you get two competitors such as Daniel Bryan and CM Punk Wrestle the house down "for free" (i.e on TV) but most of the better quality matches and payoffs are left for the PPV events.
I stress to you and much to my dismay sometimes "MOST" of the payoffs. Nothing worse than shelling out for a PPV for it to be nothing more than storyline enhancer…
