Drugs were rife among players: Mundine

All i know is there's evidence to support his claim. The only reason it seems people are dismissing what he's saying is cos of who is making the statement.

Just remind this Media seeking bloke that he cost the Dragons a Grand Final

Mundine bombed try (1999) - St George Illawarra’s Anthony Mundine drops the ball over the line in what would have been a game-clinching try in the 1999 Grand Final. The Storm come back to win it .

I went to this game , it was jam packed.

same happened to wests magpies - referee did it - graham ogrady try - kicked it, regathered, scored the try and hartley penalised him for being offside
in balmain's case - warren ryan killed em

Fair enough…I never said I didn't believe him but it is very easy to make wide sweeping statement like he did ...

What about his claim that SOO selectors were racist ??

Whenever he makes a comment about rugby league , I question his motives sorry

He brings a lot of his issues on himself and he would be the first to admit that

That's just an opinion. What he's saying here could be more than an opinion if he's seen things with his own eyes.

lol pretty sure he's only saying something because he's been asked

I mean, why would _he_ bring it up with the media? particularly when he was playing? he's not being judging, just stating an opinion/fact

Lockyer was a fair coke head from what I've heard. I also walked in on Hayne doing a line in a Surry Hills pub some years ago. Mundine isn't lying.

Mundine isn't lying. But his motives aren't to highlight the problem for change or help those involved . Loll no, he is just kicking the game while it's down . The game that gave him his fame and fortune and profile to kickstart his boxing career. If he only spoke out about boxing. The drugs, the bribes, staged bouts and results, pleaseeee Anthony , just zip it

Good post Crusader. No doubt a book would be in the pipeline for when Mundine retires. Spilling the beans on the industry. That's something to look forward too :imp:
