Dud Buy Of The Season '13

Well it's now 5 rounds into the new season already and, in my opinion, one Tony Williams is way out in front of the race to take the mantle from last year's dual winners, Adam Blair and Chris Sandow, as the dud buy of the season. Canterbury paid a lot of money for this guy, but so far he looks like he really has no idea out there! He actually looked like he was off his face last night lol. There's a long way to go yet, but I reckon he is definitely in front at this stage.

Williams had a real great patch of footy for a while, he was unstoppable and earned his rep jerseys. That said, he has turned to poo again.

Hasler sparked him last time, he can do it again.

Beau Ryans gotta be challenging Braith

I haven't seen Cronulla play this year. Is Ryan not playing well?

I didn't mention Braith because we didn't pay overs for him like Canterbury have for Williams, but he is certainly in the mix for the award on present form.

Rob Lui…first game tonight and has left the field with a knee injury already....SUCK A FAT ONE you pregnant, wife beating scumbag.

Why don't you tell us what you really think of him , stryker?

Easy to say in hindsight but even if Williams wasn't playing poorly Canterbury already have a massive, mobile pack without him. They need someone to play big minutes, tidy up around the ruck to balance their pack. they lost stag and although he offered nothing in attack, he did a job for them. Maybe they would have been better off taking heighington and saving a bit of cash.
Having said that Des knew what he was getting into so Williams will probably come good.
