I don't wish injury on anyone but this is a massive boast for our chances for top 8 and our match, would've liked to beat them at full strength though but we'll wait and see

Vautin is a biased idiot, but Joey Johns also agreed calling it a soft penalty.

Inglis looks to miss 4 matches for that hit.
 
Inglis lined him up , he had time to turn away but you could see it front on and it was a clear shoulder , Broken Jaw is the result , as for Fatty and Andrew Johns , fatty is and always was a dick , and Johns well he just has no brains other than how to play football ,
 
IMHO, Inglis shall miss at least as many matches as Dugan.
So if Dugan is out for 2 months, Inglis shall be out for at least 2 months.
I do not understand this 'SOO rules', is it NRL or what? :crazy If it is NRL, than the game shall be referred the same way as any other NRL game.
On the related issue, his contract shall be paid by Ch9, until he recovers. Ch9 gets all the profits from the game, and clubs shall be fully compensated for renting their players to CH9 Mickey Mouse games.

Morons both of them!!!!! The call was even worse last night without Sterlo…..Joey was scatheing on Farah all night. Pity 9 didn't arse him after his Toowoomba facade.
 
It's as if Joey forgot the rule where you have to attempt to make a tackle on the kicker. What Inglis did was a no-arms tackle, aka a shoulder charge. It doesn't matter if you're trying to protect yourself, the onus is on you, the defender, to do the right thing.

The Channel 9 call last night was horrendous, but is that anything new? Can't wait 'til 2018 when Fox can broadcast Origin.
 
I don't agree with shoulder charges, but also we cant referee the game in slow motion either. The technique used was at fault and a penalty is warranted. SOO is a tough game but it is not above the law. Intent is the hardest thing to prove and makes for judiciaries having non consistent penalties. But i don't believe a black and white approach for similar offences is the answer.

They are a bunch of uneducated Zombies….maybe a bit harsh but certainly the John's brothers , Fittler , Vautin , Lockyer tossers .
i watched the game on mute listening to music in the background BLISS!!!!

Fox please win the rights cause it's painful to listen to , then again i can't tolerate Anasta's commentary :rant .
The only ones worth there keep is Sterlo , Gasnier , Warren Smith and Brandy is O.K aswell.

Yeah as for the tackle ? Inglis is a turd and would it be fair to guess that Smith was in the Refs ear saying there was nothing in it ? cause he was in the Refs ears after that tackle.

Not sure what was being said but can only imagine as Cameron "SOOK" Smith never leaves the Refs
alone.

Yeah i agree forgot to mention him , Voss is brilliant and love him on Fox on the Sunday afternoon.
 
Wasn't it a tackle on Dean Young from Inglis that resulted in shoulder charges being banned?
Him, of all people, should be aware of the rule.

I agree, maybe this rule should be introduced for next season. 😛ray:
Would send a clear message, that whilst we know its a contact sport, if you over step the line, you won't be playing for the duration of the recovery time of the player you injured.
