Eels V Dragons - Broncos V Cowboys *SPOILERS*

the eels   dont worry soon their fans wil want the whole team sacked until they start winning in July

does anyone remember what happened to them after 01 05 and 07? at 2010 to that list they cant handle being favs and when things don't go their way their no chance as you seen last night, as for the dragons yeah let them win and win and win come Sep they will be their usual choking selves

Dragons completed at 95% last night (35/37). If round 1 is about ball control that's an A+. Last year they weren't very flashy in the first month of the competition and won games on defence. They'll do something similar this year.

What's doing on the final play with a chance …...no bomb but a kick for field position with 40secs left... 😕

Yeah Mortimer did a few kicks like that towards the end. He'll learn though.

How is it that no matter how many guns the Broncos lose they just keep churning out awesome no-name replacements?

Deadset it seems like every kid that steps onto the park for the Broncos turns out to be a superstar…

Can never underestimate them, they pull talent from out of nowhere every time.

Pretty easy to find the cream of the crop when you have a whole state to pick from.

Anyway, I said it for months and had to put up with crap for it, but Parramatta made the finals off of momentum last year. Throwing the football around like idiots. They are not a team that will finish top 4 but are a team that storms into finals spots. Always the same with choke-a-matta.

Agree Zai…their talent scouts and junior development personal are second to none.

Whats your point Suntan? That sounds exactly the same way we have always played our footy.

On that point, in the Centenary of Rugby League DVD's they have an interview with a former Broncos talent scout (Cyril Connell I think his name is). He said when he watched Lockyer play for the first time, he called up Wayne Bennett and said he thinks there is a future superstar for Wayne for come and see. Wayne went out to the watch him play, and after 1 half of football told him, whatever it takes, make sure we get him, don't lose him. Turns out they were right.
