Give me woods anyday over packer,his done sweet fa the last few weeks, doesnt work very hard,woods makes more metres in one game than packer does in 3.

And what's Woods done the last few weeks? Got planted by a centre in Origin 1 for a start.

You might be dirty woods has left but please dont sit here and tell me packer compares to woodsy.Packer has made no more than 10 runs in the last 2 weeks now you tell me who is better.

Im not dirty, i don't care. Packer and Matulino in place of the bearded buffoon is a great trade off. I've been ok with Woods leaving ever since someone posted clips of him the first time we played Saints. He'd been back on the field for 5 minutes and Saints made a break. Woods was the last to get back into the line, and he was our freshest player. He's lazy. Then 2 weeks later Taulmalolo literally bulldozed him. I'm quite happy with Packer and Matulino.

Honestly I don't rate Woods and haven't rated him for ages. Woods leaving is a great thing for the club. He is an overpaid dud.

I think our forwards are better when he isn't playing. His slow play the balls don't let the team get a roll on.

I accept that Woods plays a game or two a year when he is on fire.

Would Packer and Matulino be playing Origin if they could qualify? I'd say no. Packer has more intimidation factor than Woods but Woods is the better player IMO. Matulino I just haven't seen play too many good games either TBH. Individually Woods is far better than either of them.

If you looked at quality hit-ups and play the balls Woods is basically useless for 90% - 95% of the season. He has a great game once per year. The rest of the time it's slow hit-ups and slow play the balls.

As I said, Woods plays Origin and Packer and Matulino can't even get a game for a 2nd rate New Zealand Test team. That says a lot.

Yep, as I stated: Packer has it over Woods in the intimidation department no question. Football ability-wise the reverse applies.
No huge fan of Woods, but if he was a cowardly pillow who can't handle the tough stuff he wouldn't be playing Origin that is for damn sure.
