So a sponsor says we're targeting Fensom and Vaughn and not ET now according to Wacko. While he's better than many of the other rumour site its' still just random speculation.

Would a sponsor really be the first to know the detailed ins and outs of recruitment? I doubt it.

News saying Farah to Souths , couple of days away ,Elijah will be a tiger for 2 to 3 years is my prediction. Well I'm hoping

to be fair, sponsors can be balls deep in the contract negotiations, even though its not kosher, clubs are working with the sponsors to raise the TPA's to lure players in.

If we were to pick up Fensom and Vaughn, they wouldn't be the worst signings. Fence will make 50 tackles a game, so he'd pick up ET's work in that regard. Not really much attack in him.

It's not just the amount of work Taylor does though it's how he goes about it and how he controls the ruck and the line…plus the whole attacking ability that Fensom is devoid of. The Knights can take Fensom.

Vaughn would be too expensive because there are plenty of clubs that could at least use him in their prop rotation and some that would be starting him.

Heard Ray Stone is gone to Parramatta.
Farah to Souths.
ET will resign upon Farah move. Twitter is saying he is gone.

Agree Nelson - Fensom would have been great a few years back, but he seems to have slowed down dramatically, and he doesn't hold the middle nearly as well as he used to.
Also agree re: Vaughan. Great player, but the $$ won't work for us I don't think.

ET would definitely be handy to keep on. His ball playing skills give another option as well. He laid on a few good passes at the line in his first two games to give the opposition trouble. It would be a shame to see that coached out of him.

Problem we have with Eligah is everyone knows he is off contract so clubs can be circling him but he also knows he was at Penrith not getting a run joined us and has been a big part of our team since coming to us , there is no doubt he has made a difference and is a must to resign , I'm hoping this Farah to who ever is sorted by the end of the week so we can approach the next game with more understanding of who is staying and who is going , I think ET would have a blinder if his contract was sorted and he new he was a Tiger for a few years more , stability is a great thing with jobs , hears hoping anyway

Sponsors can't sign TPA's with players. So no, that wrong.

He is a must keep. Does so much dirty defensive work and his linking with the backs is top shelf. Made a huge difference.

Hopefully they are pulling out the stops to keep him.he seems loyal so I reckon a fair offer and he will stay!

Would love to see him stay. It seems every time we pick up a good players they move on as quick as they arrive.

If he does go i wouldn't mind seeing Sirro in the 13\. He has all the skills to be a great ball playing lock and if he worked on his motor over the off season i think that is his most suitable position long term.

in attack, Sirro would be good. I can't see him making the 50plus tackles required.

With Farah seemingly certain to announce he is leaving this week surely Wests Tigers will sign Elijah Taylor to a new contract. I would go as far saying that the signing of Elijah Taylor would be the most important Wests Tigers signing (from another club) for at least the past 10 years.

There is an allowance ($6-700k or so) for club sponsor TPAs.
The non-affiliated TPAs are uncapped.

I wouldn't go that far. Tedesco, Moses and potentially Woods next yr all outweigh ET. He's a very important cog going forward nevertheless.

Tedesco, Moses and Woods are Tigers junior. I was referring to ET as a non-Tiger junior signing.
