I dont know but I am getting pretty peeved at his recovery time. If he is to be any longer than a month I would cut him loose and try someone else. He is gone next year anyway…and hasnt contributed this year yet.

Surely someone out there isnt happy with their current contract.

Last year he came back off his game, never really got back to the level we know he can play. My point, dont expect miracles,but than again even down on form he is better than most of the guys running around at present

Perhaps would have been a good idea to send him home to recover and bring him back for the finals and next year he can have a full season. Could have worked if he agreed but one things for sure we will sadly miss his starch in the ruck.

Gareth is a class player. He will be exactly what we need leading in to the finals. I just feel gutted he didn't get to play out his final year the way we all would've liked. Hope we can still send him out a winner though!

i was listening to the same interview, he is training with the boys and said he thinks it will be best to not play this week and hopes to be back next wk… such a respectable man he will be sorely missed at the club on and off the field, he is great role model for the club.
