Ellis

okay, time to cash in the chips and weigh in with a good ol fashioned "i told you so!"!!
when he first arrived i said he would be the best recruit the tigers had ever had, including balmain (e.g. Hanley). 2.5 seasons later and plenty of people agree.

and yeh, even i can't stand people who make i told you so comments! I'm such a hypocrite…i know...

but having said that brazen rant, i thought he was good tonight but must have missed a lot because i didn't think he was THAT good? great shoulder charge... maybe i am just used to him playing so well?

personally, i was surprisingly impressed with Fulton. one of the best games i have seen from him. and also Ryan did really well too.

GREAT player.

Second best pom to ever play in the NRL behind Hanley.

Ellery was the best player I've ever seen, so being second to him isn't bad!

Great player/person/attitude/club-man/role model.

A coach's dream and the best thing to come out of the U.K since fish and chips.

Fantastic again tonight again . As one of the commentators said last night We did really miss him while he was out injured He is definitely back at 100% now

His efforts really split the two teams last night, the best thing was after that hit on King when everyone came in was the noise from the crowd. Really shows how much a part of the club the big pom is. What a champion.

the problem with hanley is that he was around 20 odd years ago now and you forget how good he was. time has a way of diminishing (or amplifying in my case  ) how good someone was and i guess i just don't remember well enough to truly compare the two….
