Ditch the notion of juniors …Woods is a Test player ...Tedesco an Origin rep and rated one of the best young players in the game...my head hurts...

This is true however I think the disruptive events of the last 6 months has really hurt the prospects of the juniors. What management would put themselves in the same position again? I feel sorry for the current crop of juniors because I have no doubt management will look elsewhere and be very cautious about bringing juniors through. If I was a current junior my prospects at WT would be pretty limited.

Think Siro put it best. You're just cherry picking the best as opposed to aiming to field a side that's 1-17 full of juniors as has been this clubs goal for the last 5 or so years because its all they could afford to do. Its a loser mentality.

Just looking at this weeks 1-17

1\. James Tedesco..Junior
2\. David Nofoaluma…Junior
3\. Jamal Idris...Import
4\. Kevin Naiqama...Import
5\. Moses Suli...Junior
6\. Mitchell Moses...Junior
7\. Jack Littlejohn..Import
8\. Aaron Woods (capt.)...Junior
9\. Matt McIlwrick..Import
10\. Ava Seumanufagai...Import
11\. Josh Aloiai...Import
12\. Chris Lawrence..Junior
13\. Elijah Taylor...Import

Interchange:
14\. Tim Grant..Import
15\. Sauaso Sue...Junior
16\. Michael Chee Kam..Import
17\. Jacob Liddle...Junior..

So make up is 8 juniors and 9 imports...even split ..I also wouldn't say our current juniors in the side are dragging the side down...Woods Tedesco Nofoaluma Suli and even Moses have been among our best performers this year...McIlwrick Seumanufagai and Taylor for the imports...It's about balance...

It's not a floored policy as long as the imports you import strengthen what you already have...

It's floored when you pay state of origin money to players with potential and nothing else.
If we pay origin money to origin players we'd be ok.

put them all in a room together with their manager, ask them how much they want, counter offer, bargain. cant reach a bargain? start taking offers of the table and topping them up for the other and have a limit in your head.

easy, peasy, beautiful covergirl

It's flawed because the current crop will leave unless you pay them overs. We should support our juniors and try and hold onto them. We also need to show some loyalty to players like Robbie and currently Lawrence.

I don't think all the juniors coming through over time will behave like the ones we have now.

We do buy talent and we will continue to do so. It's not our system that is wrong. I think the current way the NRL runs has to change to more support junior development and we need get our act together a bit more because we haven't set a good example to these kids but I don't see the club as being that bad.
