Its funny, 37 years ago Wests lost almost half their team in one hit…that was painful but it was like ripping off a bandaid in one second....this is like a full body wax over days and weeks

They're still giving it their all for their current clubs. Because we invest in our juniors, our guys have been given everything from an early age. In Moses case, we punted 2 other players to keep him, he had a rails run. Now it's gone to his head and he believes he's more important than he really is. I will exclude Brooks, but the others have shown a real lack of maturity during negotiations. I'd have thought Tedesco would have learned after last time but I guess not. I think solely investing in juniors can breed contempt and arrogance among the players, because they know they are the chosen ones. After this the club needs to scrap this juniors mantra crap and start entering the player market more often. When Kent asked him "have you tried to convince Moses to see the year out" and he said "no I haven't" that proved that he is a poor leader who doesn't have the Clubs interest at heart. I feel we need him to leave so we can progress as a Club.

This will be Woods biggest career contract and depending on the length maybe Tedesco's as well

Do you all honestly think that Woods and Tedesco are contacting the media to discuss their contract negotiations?
The reason it is being played out in the media is because the club has openly built their future around these players and they are all up for contract at the same time. One is already gone and the other two are eagerly being pursued by other clubs. Oh and the club just recently sacked a coach and hired a new coach right inthe middle of it all who came with the job to rebuild the club.First task to retain Woods and Teddy.

A few of us on here have been saying for years to ditch the notion that juniors alone can make success.
It's romantic, but unrealistic.
Keep a few obvious youngens but the risky ones should be shed for experienced players. Sure some losses will be mistakes, but at least we won't be the same juvenile mistake over and over.
