There was no media talk or anywhere on contract negotiations before JT got the arse.
It was a club edict.
When he got the arse it seems the edict went with him
Shame
Good email
Its funny, 37 years ago Wests lost almost half their team in one hit…that was painful but it was like ripping off a bandaid in one second....this is like a full body way over days and weeks
Thats because we were never privy to what was happening then and or rumours, through social media. Now we are at the point of predicting what a man is thinking through his body language.
I cant believe how people have turned on Woods its like a feeding frenzy and anything good he has done for the club is being ignored because some dont like his indecision and the manner in which he is portraying it.
If he does stay some are really going to get over it but based on some of the comments not sure they will. Once you start attacking the character of a man a signature doesnt change that.
If you try and defend Woods, you're fighting a losing battle. He's had an offer, that is overs for his ability, on the table from this club for a long time now. He is just using the Bulldogs now to squeeze more out. Whether he stays or goes is irrelevant to me at this point. If he had taken the overs that was offered to him along time ago and got on with business, I'd be praising him now, instead, he's acting like a grub and dragging this whole situation out for more money that he doesnt deserve. If he stays, the respectable thing he needs to do is hand back the captaincy. He is no captain, he's a grub. I've lost a lot of respect for him for the way he's handled himself. If I were Pascoe, I'd be pulling the offer from the table.
while i dont agree with all of his actions/comments and dragging the club through the mud, he deserves as much money as he can get.
if someone wants to sign a player for 4 mil a season, i dont see the issue with the player bargaining for more. he should get as much as he can
here, woods is entitled to use the dog's offer to leverage for more money for us. we can always say no, and he can always sign elsewhere if he wishes
