Expectations....

Yo! I enjoy how we make the fans of other teams nervous. Fear the tiger after all, cause we're the real predators.

Also what's up with Tui this week? He's not in the 17.

It's just because we have so much depth this year. I've been hearing people in SuperCoach/Fantasy complaining about Ivan changing his team around..even though it's winning.
I guess for a winning team we have had a few changes. Thompson changing around, Tui in then dropped, Nofo in and out. Three different DH's. ET, Parker, Reynolds injured. Alioia coming in late, ect.
Ivan is using our depth. Reynolds said he could of been right last week and they decided to give his hamstring an extra week.
And Sue gets his shot this week. Hope he makes the most of it. If not JJ Felese or Grant are next in.

Makes sense. This dynamic of depth make opportunities come and go for a lot of players, but as long as we're winning
I don't mind. From the few games we've had, it seems like coach has organised the team well. Cheers man.

Look out for a win this Sunday.

But consider this. There will be a lot of Manly fans out there choking on their lattes over the fact they have to play the Tigers this week.

Not sure I understand MG. Do you think the Manly fans fear the Tigers ?

I am suggesting that 5 weeks ago most fans would be marking a W for their team when they played us. Now that result looks doubtful at best.

Its great to know that teams are now fearing the mighty Tigers and worried about our no nonsense aggressive pack that are controlling the middle and hurting other teams into mistakes

I haven't watched manly this year, We should dismiss the Parra victories for both teams.

They got a few gun players

Are they deserved favorites?

I agree OP, the fear of losing is greater this year than many previous. I do feel sick to the stomach thinking about it. I was sick after losing to the Broncos via a controversial penalty.
But… it's worth all the fear to be backing a side this competitive, haven't experienced euphoria quite like this for some time. My expectation leading into every game is "We're going to be competitive" and nothing short of that.

Their good record at Brookie ours is poor, probably what it's mainly based off

As we have all seen recently…things can change dramatically...who would of thought we would go to Melbourne and beat the premiership contenders on home soil..

Lookout Lottoland the Tigers are coming for you Manly.....

Yeah good BT,I thought I did alright…

I feel the same. Been a while since the confidence was so high that it makes it more nervous to watch.

A lot of NRL fans think we are just on a bit of a roll that will eventually come to an end. In all honesty I don't think so. We could lose a few here and there over the next couple of months, but we have to win more than we lose in this middle part of the season. We will make the 8 imo.

I really just want to see the boys still in the game in the last 10, even if losing. No blow outs!

Our defense has been great for 5 weeks so I think it will last for another week. Might put some $$$’s on our boys again. :sign:

I think a lot of us are expecting the wheels to fall off, hopefully not today and certainly not soon.

As long as the attitude , commitment and the accountability continue we should remain as proud as we are win , lose or draw

As for Manly it would of been nice to have ET back this week , but no reason we can't give ourselves a huge chance of winning still
