Latu played a little bit of NSW cup this year. Seems like he fell out of favour once the news broke he was coming here. Has been stuck in Flegg since then.
On his debut, being forced to defend in the centres… a position he’s never played before

Think most of us agree $500k each a season is a bit much especially for Samula, but they always quote more than the actual contract especially when it suits a narrative.
But if the kid was on $500k at Manly he’s hardly going to come here for less.

He had his NSW Cup debut earlier in the year at 17.
His last NSW Cup game was his best, but since he started negotiating with other clubs he’s back to Flegg.

Perhaps the most astute deal in Rugby League history, imo … no matter how well the brothers turn out, and I have high hopes, but even if they did nothing we are still ahead after getting rid of those 2
