Yes it blew out a bit in the end but we were right in the game without a regular half back and if the bounce had gone our way might have pulled it off. I thought we showed we have the potential to tear the ring out of the Dragons yet again come the finals.

All the top players are passengers at times. Who is the best player in the game. I say Thurston, Hayne & possibly Inglis. They are not consistently great.

Farah and benji do need to perform for us to win the comp but there is plenty of time left atm.

that will be close to 10 years these guys have been regular member of the team its time these 2 players in particular come under some scrutinity….... IMO its as much their fault as it is sheens

Well apart from winning a comp for us that took how many years for both Wests and Balmain?? Let's take Benji for instance, he is good enough to not only be selected to play for New Zealand but Captain his country. You don't get that honor for being a useless footballer. As for Robbie Farah, captained City and has played SOO and is being robbed from playing more SOO games by inept selectors. A DT poll from it's readers clearly have Robbie as the NSW hooker, again, something you don't get for being a useless footballer.

you are highlighting personal achievements…what about what they do to get this team over the line? you know like how lockyear does, how hornby and soward have done the last few years...like kurt gidley does with a bunch of muppets in newcastle over the last few years....cronk and smith at melbourne.... i could go on....

these 2 while being rated great individualy arent getting this team over the line and into the finals... i could care less if they play for nsw australia or NZ...i want them to get this team into the finals on a regular occurance and they havent done it....if they cant then what the hell are we paying them so much for?

What have Hornby and Soward done over the past few years?? Made the finals and choked with a star studded lineup. Benji won us a premiership and Robbie has been our star for 3 years. They are worth the money.

I'm not privy to what both Robbie & Benji are on, but at a guess, I'd say we are paying overs for Benji only. I know what Smith is on at Melbourne, and Robbie is by far the 2nd best in the comp @ Hooker, and is payed accordingly 'IF' he is payed what is reported. As too Benji, he might not of earnt the same billing as DL, and DL isn't on as much as some may think, but what they bring to their clubs off the field is more than what they brings to the club on it.

What you are realy asking Ron is would we be better suited paying the same money for other NRL Stars? That can't be answered, as both you and me don't give the club enough money to have that question answered.

Stop putting your "fear campaign" into the people who want the club to succeed. We only want to cheer the Tigers into the finals for 2010 and beyond. Jump on board Ron, before it's too late…

Wt seem to have that "fat kid" mentality where they are just happy that anyone will play with us instead of going out and pushing for the huge name players.

we signed robbie and benji up on long deals based on what? FEAR, fear that we couldnt lure players better then them to our club. We have never managed to attract a huge name inform player from another club so we settle for what we have and happy to pick up star players from years past.

and i agree thaat they produce good corperate dollars off the field…but mate...make the finals every year and it doesnt matter who the hell our players are or what they look like the corperate dollars ill flow in ten fold
