Farah Axed

When is he going to write his book? It will be longer than War And Peace with the axes he has to grind.

Taylor
Tallis

Potter

Opposite viewpoint.

Taylor was so hamstrung by Farah that the season after he got the boot he lasted 3 games!

Maybe we should be saying Thank god Farah did pipe up and this clown coach is no longer around to run the joint into the ground.

Maybe Farah was partly right about the coaches we had all along given that Ivan is doing.

Benji was part of the boys club wasn't he? Part of the problem? Under different coaches?

Look how he is under Ivan - totally different.

Strong coaches are imperative.

Not saying Farah is faultless - his time here is done - but some of the stuff being written about him is laughable borderline plain sad.

How are these 3 coaches going in the NRL in 2018?

Oh thats right they will never get a 1st grade head coaching job again.

Im sure they will blame it all on Robbie as thats the easy thing to say.

Big Gordie is not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Winning coaches dont get sacked its as simple as that. Coaches are sacked at all clubs based on performance and its no different at our club.

Do you think Potter deserved the sack? He was getting more out of a poor squad than I'd have expected… until some players put on a power play and virtually tanked. Saw it with my own eyes at Canberra Stadium and was sickened by the sight. And a weak board allowed it all to happen.

My overriding memory of this matter is JT scurrying down the backstairs of whatever facility he was at trying to avoid the media after being terminated.

So because they might not ever get another gig, that makes it ok?

Anyone who thinks Taylor will never get another gig is kidding themselves. He's this era's Brian Smith. Any club in need of a clean out will bring him in. Not a coach you are after to bring long term success. He's a hatchet man.

It wouldn't surprise me if Potter coaches again. Particularly if the knights do well whilst he's there.

Please.

Our culture was awful under JT. He hardly cleaned the place up. He is a flog what talks a big game but delivers little.

Brian Smith is a 55% career coach who made multiple Grand Finals

JT is a 44% head coach who has never won a finals game better off suited to being a good assistant coach.

Won't be a head coach in the NRL again. Your dreaming if you think he will be.

Your right I quite liked Potter and did fell he should have stayed instead of get JT.

However its not like clubs were suing up for him when he was sacked.

Thats my point.

Where did they finish the year he left?

Or let me guess we are we going to give him magic credit for Maguire turning the club around?

His face left Souths a mess.

Maybe thats what I was referring to.

Yep, I get what you're saying eddie. I just think he has plenty to offer. Who knows, he may end up at one of his old clubs down the track….doggies after Pay gets the boot perhaps? Dragons when they fail again? Who knows?

You seem to have something personal against him, so your opinion is not exactly objective.

Its totally irrelevant what I think Barra cause I dont get to make those decisions. The board and CEO at the time made the call not to renew Potters contract, and regardless of the conspiracy theories around why - it was and always be there call, rightly or wrongly and any anger at the decision should be solely directed at them. The board had a history of being factional, and making decisions that were not always in the clubs best interest, considering the mess they created.
As for some players directly deciding to influence others to tank a game and the players agreeing to do it, to get rid of the coach - you will have to be more explicit with the details for me to make any comment on that.
Season was derailed as soon as the GT opened his big mouth before the crtical St George game -prior to that we were starting to put together some good performances and edging toward the semis thanks to the players at the time and the coach. At that point we certainly not performimg like a side that had a problem with the coach.

Well Eddie - you seem to be even more vindictive to JT than 851.

Never thought anyone would overtake him. Congratulations.

Twelve months on and the venom keeps pouring out.

JT loves you as well. Lol

when I see the same bile of 6 pages of hate for a player that left over 12 months ago - y that won a premiership and played 240 games for our club I couldn't resist a few digs at the JT lovers - a bloke who achieved next to nothing at WT. xx

'The JT lovers'' are too busy enjoying our current success to care.

The stats I quoted seem to be close to the mark.

are they subjective?

Or is your opinion that he is a good hatchet man that will return as an NRL coach just as if not more subjective?
