VERY unlikely to the point of almost nil chance. The NRL wouldn't give a licence to another Sydney team if one fell through, let alone a brand that has been dead and buried for over a decade. There has been too much time and money invested in the Wests Tigers brand for them to allow it to be thrown away to go back to the Wests Magpies. The licence will probably be sent to the Bears on the Central Coast or to Perth.

I disagree, they need a team in the greater Western Sydney area to fight AFL(among other reasons),they don't need another inner-city club, this was part of Balmain's thinking to try and make sure the "Tigers" survive in some form in the NRL.Anyway lets hope it doesn't come to that, the JV has gone better that many Tigers officials predicted,my Uncle used to have an official capacity with Balmain Football Club and his PO was that we were heading the same way as Norths.

Was just on the Eels forum 1EyedEel. Some on there seem to think Robbie to the Eels is a done deal!

Man Im nervous about this one.

We have every right to be nervous. There'a few valid reasons as to why Robbie may consider a fresh start too. Doesn't mean he will though.

I don't care if he does anymore, too much emphasis has been place on how good he is. In reality, u could get back an issac de gois to direct a good forward pack around and we could be just as good . Too many ego at tigers, didn't see this many show ponies with the great broncos raiders or knoghts sides back in the day, show ponies.,,,

As you would know from this forum, people claim a lot of things on these places are done deals when they aren't

I can tell you from the hoarses mouth it's not a done deal but the Paramatta chairman is feeling confident and cocky that it probably will!!!

I think it might depend on how the tigers are going next season and who the coach is, if he don't like the way we are going he might leave, but I'm hoping that he still prefers to be a 1 club player his entire career

I thought that players cannot talk to opposition teams before November 1st which means all this talk that farah has talked to Stuart or is going to sign with them a load of bull.

Farah has not even started talks with the Tigers.

Who in the right frame of mind would leave their team for only a fraction of a contract increase to join the eels. By him leaving it stops him from coming back one day for life after football. He's also our captain. What have the eels to offer. If he was to leave, he would of left years ago.

Thats it,, why go to Parra where he will have to carry their forwards., with no Hindmarsh, Fui nearly finished and all they have signed is a couple of Manly fringe forwards.

Yep..the coach I might add that didn't think Robbie was good enuf to play SOO and preferred the Grub

Some people will never let go of that will they. He picked him this yr did he not? He also stuck pretty close by him when he lost his mother. The world looks great through rose coloured glasses
