Farah leaving and who do ya want

For Farah leaving we could get maybe Ballin and McQueen in return. Ballin would only be on 100k at most, with Manly post of his contract, would be an excellent signing as an experienced hooker to help ease Cherry in. Even if we still pay 300k, Ballin on the cheap in the same way offsets this.

– Just noticed Ballin did his ACL 2 days ago, crap timing. Maybe we re-sign Halatau and he combines with Cherry at hooker. Happy with that too.

Souths do have cap room but may want to move one of their mid range earners to free some more room. McQueen would most likely be that player and one we would certainly take.

With other players having left there might be enough room and nsw cup cap to sign the likes of Gubb, Allwood Ikahifo etc. Especially if half their contracts are being topped up. Maybe even Matagi. And hopefully re-sign Ava.

Seems like a good deal to me, for a 32 year hooker who most likely won't play Origin again, and seems to cause disruptions with players, coaches and media.

If Farah does go there's a fair chance we will be paying at least 40% of his wage to play elsewhere. So just be done with it and get Ballin on board for 2 years with Manly supplementing his wage. Give Cherrington some more time and maybe by the second year Cherrington is the starter and Ballin the benchy.

Just did his acl I think. No thanks.

Didn't know that, well that anit going to work

First up we need a new captain.

Chris Lawrence would make a great skipper. Has plenty of ticker, great work ethic and plenty of respect.

Offer him a new 3 year deal on a more realistic amount to supercede the existing contract. We save a few more bucks, retain a solid second rower and go shopping with the change.

Hahaha! Even in dire days like this it's comforting to know people can still keep their sense of humor. Thanks, this post made my day.

Any hard running, hard tackling forwards will do, not to mention a fleet footed evasive centre who hits like a Mack truck!!

Not much, just a team who consistently finishes in the top 8 for at least 4 years in a row.
Still waiting.
I agree with above post of Top Tiger.
At the moment, to be honest, I do not know who is available of that type of player, who will compliment the team dynamic.

i used to think that an atraction to join a different club was to play with state of origin or international
players .or maybe a coach an individual could learn more from.

robbie and woodsie were our outstanding players and now robbie appears to be on the move.

so what would be an attraction to join the tigers?

rookie coach, wooden spooner certainties in 2015,ordinary team with a sprinkling of talent - these aren't strong inducements.

an opportunity to live in the inner city,maybe- can't see many other positives which would outweigh other clubs offers.

players and clubs are ruled by the almighty dollar- whoever the team targets or signs, they will pay overs.

mateo and reece robinson would be handy intermediatry players.

Nobody Farah will be paid by WT. Clubs know we are a joke and won't meet any of the contract.

Titans and now Rabbits are confirmed to rule themselves out only possible destination is England or maybe even Knights

I would love to sign Thaiday, but he'd be mad to come here after being at such a successful club for so long.

Any NRL team would be crazy to put their hand up this early.
They'll make the Tigers sweat and force them to pay the bulk of the contract.
Unfortunately other clubs management actually know what they are doing.

I would not be sure about that Farah still has a lot to offer and if someone was interested they would not want someone to sneak under there guard.

Throw the house at klemmer and a minder for lodge (or 3)….if there was money left over for a real coach we'd be set

I don't think people actually get it. Everyone's got their shopping list out. We will have nothing to spend next year. We are already going to be over the cap next year. We only save the money that another club is willing to pay. We will cover the rest of the contract. The amount we save is probably the same amount we will be over the cap. So we lose Robbie and gain nobody,
