Its the context, Its much worse if someone says something like what was said to Robbie in a serious context because it means its being said to offend. In this case it was said to gain a reaction which he got.

Saying something to offend and saying something to gain a reaction are different things IMO and the former is much worse

Saying, ''hes not serious'' absolves him of responsibility....a lack of accountability and responsibilty in todays society imo has led to thing just getting worse across the board.

Funny how one clown earlier was advising people to ''man up'', ''grow a backbone'' and turn off the computer....maybe the trolls could ''man up, put a name to their work, or better still, take some responsibilty for the grabage they spew.

Completely agree Ink, how some of you guys can downplay the seriousness of what the guy wrote is above and beyond me.

Dermo, unless you know the bloke who made the tweet, how do you come to the conclusion that he wrote it to gain a reaction and didn't actually mean it? You need to realise there are some sick bastards out there who would actually entertain the thought of doing what the grub suggested. Even if you are correct, the grub should be berated for how he went about getting this reaction, it was the most sickening piece of literature I've ever seen.

If the status quo is maintained, as your insinuating it should, people are never going to be accountable for their bad deeds online, people are going to continue to commit suicide and contract mental illnesses via the bullying they receive online and trolls, who should be behind bars, will still lurk in society.
